yeah its treu about the man...

but i think there are for sure, more beautiful woman.. with a scale of 9.. then man with a 10... but yeah, that makes the man more special then other man.. and many times woman are similar.. * exept my wife of course hahahahaha)

Hmm, I still think that women are more beautiful, and I don't mean the looks only either. It's just as if I feel that they have a part in their personality and spirit I don't have and that I find intriguing and am attracted to. There's a difference between good looking and beautiful and it's about the sparkle of the eye and the depth of mind and soul behind the eye.

Men are dull.

well Kirei_na_me is beautiful i think... beautiful eyes. lovely hair, and i like her personality!!!

as i talk about a JREF member LOL

Women are more beautiful, my girlfriend brings happiness into my heart and soul like no other guy I've dated. She just makes me so happy, so good just being with her... guys don't make me feel that way
Girls have that internal beauty... whereas most guys dont :sorry: no offense to any guys here -hides-

i dont have internal beauty  :(

All things considered, I'm about as beautiful as the southbound end of a northbound horse. I guess that makes me a "2". I'd give myself a "1", but if I didn't look at myself in the mirror, I'd have a hell of a time shaving!
:D :D :D :D :D

Aha, Jeff, but you have honesty, that counts for a lot! :D :D :D

I don't know about anyone else, but I find it a leetle irritating when guys say (to me) such thing like "Nice personality is more important than appearance", etc. etc. (Hmm, if it's someone I know well, that's ok because I can tell if they are sincere or not; I mean, some stranger says it it's annoying.) Because they might as well just say: "You're pretty damn average, but I'm desperate". Or am I just too cynical?

Oh, but if he says "Nice personality as important as appearance", that I can deal with... 😊

Nope, I don't think you're being cynical, Kinsao. I've found that when people trot out the old "Nice personality is more important than appearance" line, what they really mean is that you don't have the looks to attract the opposite sex, but no one wants to come right out and say that you're either average or even ugly. Heaven knows I've been told that more than a few times, so I speak from experience.

I'm not gonna rate myself, but I have been feeling a lot more beautiful in the last few weeks since I met my new friend!
When someone who is really beautiful fancies you it can be really good for your confidence. Some people I know have said they can see a change in me since I met this girl.

So women are more beautiful than men huh? Most men aren't beautiful on the inside right? Women are more superior than men is that what you're getting to? You know the tone and thought put into your post really offends me. You make it sound like women will always been more superior than men when it comes to both outter and inner beauty. Well I got some news for you, GROW UP. I've met more women who are terrible in personality than you can even fathom, so don't go running your mouth saying that women are better than men; that's just being sexist.

Naw you're not being too cynical. There are men who are like that I will agree, but there are more men out there who really do care about the personality than looks. If a guy digs you and says that, he really does like your personality and wants to be with you. I find that if you have a beautiful personality that is enhances your outter beauty as well. I should know because I'm speaking from experience with several other women. On average men care more about personality than they do about looks, it's just finding the man that can be tricky. Don't worry you'll find the right guy, and remember that not every man, even a stranger, feels that way about women in the regard of saying that personality is more important, but in reality their true meaning is that you're physically unattractive.

Uh, I was never being sexist, and I never said women are superior, but sorry, from MY personal experiances, men aren't exactly all that great. And I'm sorry if I offended, you, but I never said any **** like that, and if anyones offending another, its definately you. Grow up, you say? Haha, you think 4 years makes that much of a difference? News flash, buddy, women mature faster than men, so I think we're about equal. Its funny how you took most offense without even trying to understand what I was trying to say, but then again, theres no one to blame here but yourself. I've met some ******* in my life too, but I've met more assholes... sorry

PS:
plus, I never said guys suck or I hate them or they're pointless, or any crap along those lines, so don't jump to conclusions...

dutch, what kind of question is this? :o

Well on the outside I rate myself as 4, but on an internal level, I rate myself as 10 because I consider myself someone who has a nice personality. :-)

It doesn't really matter whether you were being sexist or not, the fact is that tone of your post seemed offensive in the regard that there are men out there who are nothing like the men you have met in the past, and that you failed to take that into consideration.

Grow up, you say? Haha, you think 4 years makes that much of a difference? News flash, buddy, women mature faster than men, so I think we're about equal.

Physical maturity has nothing to do with mental maturity. Unfortunately, when you tried proving your point you did nothing more than make a double standard for yourself. Granted women do mature physically quicker than men, but maturing mentally is a whole different story. Mentally most men and women mature at the same rate. However, there are certain instances where a younger person may be mentally mature more on intelligence and their perception of the world around them than a person older than them. However, this all falls back on past experiences as well, and the adaptation to them.

For example, official certified psychological tests show that I am more mature than the average twenty year old due to my past experiences. I had to grow up pretty fast, and learn some harsh lessons very early in life. I became analytical at a very young age, and took in the world around me much more than the other kids did. Mental maturity also comes from experience not just intelligence. To you a four year difference doesn't seem like much, but in actuality it is. I have experienced things that you haven't yet. I know things that you don't just by growing up.

You have a lot of growing up to do, as do I. Your remarks show me that your mindset is that of a typical sixteen year old teenager. You still have a lot to learn about people, and how the world works. Even I must gain more experience, but I must admit that I had also learned, knew, and understood things that other kids didn't when I was at your age. My advice to you is to study more on the subject by doing extensive research in psychology by reading books, taking classes, and studying up on the subject. I think you will not only learn more about yourself and where you stand mentally, but I think you will also learn how to make your mind more mature before giving way to uneducated judgments.

Its funny how you took most offense without even trying to understand what I was trying to say, but then again, theres no one to blame here but yourself. I've met some ******* in my life too, but I've met more assholes... sorry

I think it is you who doesn't get it. I understood perfectly well where you were coming from. You are obviously a bisexual who has made a very narrow minded judgment in the regard of tagging most if not all men as bastards just because of your past experiences with your poor qualities and lack of maturity in picking the right man. Rather than seeking a man that truly fits your needs you instead go with the lowest of the low showing your immaturity not only in mindset and age, but also with concept of understanding and handling relationships. Your reasoning for love and relationships is irrational, immature, and perfectly normal for a girl your age. Most women don't mature mentally on the basis of love and relationships until the age of twenty-two.

You have a lot of growing up to do, and I'm sure you will think differently once you are older, gained more experience, and have grasped a better understanding on love and relationships. However, I must warn you that if you continue to have such a narrow mindset towards men that it may eventually harm you in the end, and cause very deep emotional scarring, especially if you do fall for a guy that you wish to have a long term relationship with, but continue to believe in your current politic. I am not trying to start an argument with you, nor am I trying to belittle you. I just want you to think twice before making such judgmental comments like the one that you made. Not only will you offend and hurt other people around you and make them jump to conclusions due to your tone and lack of better judgment, but you can and will eventually hurt yourself if you do not change your ways. Gain some experience, open your mind, and be rational before you make those type of judgments. It will make you a whole better person in the end not only with maturity, but also emotionally as well.

I had no offensive tone when I posted that, another missunderstanding due to the internet...
Well what ever, I don't care, bad experiances lead to a change of character, beliefs and practices, that just happens to be my case, I dont wanna talk about this anymore, not only is it pissing you off, but its making me mad/upset too, so I'm putting an end to this.

Actually it's not upsetting me one bit. Yes I found your post offensive, but I'm not flaming you saying your complete and total scum am I? No I'm not. All I'm saying is that you should have better judgment because you can hurt yourself and others around you in the end if you're not careful; that's all I'm saying. So if you want to mouth off and believe in what you want to believe in about men then that's fine by me as each is to their own. Just remember that it could all blow up in your face one day, and there won't be anybody to blame but yourself.

Doc

No offense or anything, but you're actually the first person to ever bring that up, or complain about my views.... ☝ but w/e like I said, I want to drop it, it might not be affecting you in any way, but it is on my part 😌 so yeah

That's understandable and I apologize if I seemed brash at all towards you in my posts. I just want you stop and think about your feelings and the feelings of those around you before you start making such narrow judgments. You need to be open minded, reasonable, optimistic, and understanding before making any absolute decisions on where you stand with the things you believe in. As I said before there is a lot more to this world that you are missing out on (especially with finding the right guy), and it's really a shame because you could harm yourself in the end. I just want you to realize how unfair, unjust, and irrational you stance is on the subject, what you need to do to fix it. Hey if you find a woman who you want to be your partner later on in life then more power to you. I just want you to remember that not all men are jerks like the ones you've been with. Since you wish for the subject to be dropped I will respect your wishes. Just contemplate on your stance about men before making any sound judgments; that is all that I ask.

:o :o :o

I try and look at everyone equally whether they be man or woman. It never occurred to me to think that one sex is somehow 'better' or 'nicer' than the other. ☝ Because of course that is a nonsense way of thinking. Each group have nice people and bastards both, it's the way the world is.

But the original question is about physical beauty/attractiveness, yes? So I would think the natural thing is for people to find opposite sex attractive (physically) if they are straight, or same sex if they are gay. I don't see there's any great mystery to it.

Now that... is very true. :-) I don't know why it is, but it happens.
