Man, there are even Japanese guys that are coming to see the games. I have a Japanese friend, who is a crazed Tokyo barman who got 11(?!) tickets and he is going to tour Portugal, from the start to the finish. And I thought Brazilian and Portuguese was nuts about Football.

Can't wait, just 3 more days . Anyways I think it's funny how the expersts say that France is the favorite, but on the poll here it's not. Myself I'm cheering for Italy, then I favor the Netherlands and England. It should be a good competition though. The European players had more resting time than they did when they had to play Korea/Japan 2002, which explains why a lot of the European teams did so poorly.

well, after Portugal, France would be my favourite to win and I chose Portugal because besides playing at home, it is my country.

I would say though that out of the 16, 8 have strong chances to win: Portugal, France, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and Czech Republic.

Finally it's here, can't wait until tmrw. I want Portugal to beat Greece, and Spain to beat Russia; they should have no problem with these teams, but I dunno we shall see. Of course the big warm up is on Sunday, France-England.

It was crazy. Bekam shoulda have scored the PK, and stupid Gerard shouldn't have done that weird back pass.

Portugal disappointed all Portuguese, and myself, the players were so nervous and the only one "guilty" for this, is the coach Scolari. He didn't prepare well the players to control their feelings, and in modern football( soccer), the mental condition is critical. That's is why FcPorto wins the Champions League because it had one great coach, that prepared player. Besides tactical aspects, he trained all players mentally.

In the second half, I like the reaction of my team, but the errors still and one error was the cause for the PK. Deco and Ronaldo were, for me, the best Portuguese Players. But we didn't lose faith and hope because hope is the last to lose.

Yesterday, France had so much luck to win that match, but this is natural in football e that is why this sport is so exciting.

Agree! Italy - Denmark is a great match, with chances on both sides. The Goal Keepers are the best players, and that is the reason for this 0-0.

Well Italy - Denmark was a good game, although i think Italians could have played much better with all the talent they have in their team. I feel that the coach didn't put a very good line-up in terms of formation and starters. I am so disapointed that portugal lost against greece, and that England gave the match away at the end to france. Well hopefully tmrw the Dutch will win

OK,so the only team to make it for sure are the Czhecks. THey played great, although i wanted Holland to win. Today great game: Portugal-Spain.

It's hard to say. My bets would be on France, but to be honest, they ain't playing that well so far. They beat england yeah, with two flukey goals. Don't get me wrong, the goals were good, and they have great strikers (Trez and Zidane my favourite offensive players, Henry is amazing too) but they got lucky in the last 3 mins, and who can miss a PK? (except Beckham...lol).

And to draw to Croatia, hmm. Croatia are a good team but France should have beat them, they were lucky to equalise near the end.

So...my bets are on either England, Sweden, or France. Have to be vague at this point in the tournament, because the top teams are roughly even. Czech Republic are the only team to have won both matches so far, but they're in an easy group.

Myeh, if I had to bet on ONE team, it'd be England. They seem to have a spirit that other teams don't, which will hopefully take them through to the finals. France beating them again wouldn't suprise me though.

Yeah... from what I have seen so far I think that Portugal, right now, is a better team than England.
