Well, I must admit that some chauvinism made me act before reason. France at least have one vote (kanoshimi dane)

Anyway, I saw a part of the show last night (on Paris Premiere), and they didn't even show all the 80 girls all the time. Some might say it is a question of organisation, but still !! Did they already knew who would be the finalists ?
As most part of a decision in this kind of contest is based on beauty, for sure I wouldn't have chosen Miss Australia. Maybe like most of you

I must be missing something.....

I checked some of the names with links and they were wrong.

My favorites are Miss Guatemala Universe 2004 and Miss Dominican Rep. Miss Columbia and Miss Japan and China.

Well, I thought France, Japan, Germany, and Australia were the most beautiful, but not necessarily in that order. Miss America looked kind of like an airhead a little bit. Plus, living here in California, you see women who look exactly like her all over the place, so that could be why I didn't choose her. She is pretty, though. Same with Canada. So for those of you who loved Miss Canada and Miss America, you might want to visit California sometime and you'll see women like that everywhere, although mostly in southern California. I thought the others were much more beautiful, though. By the way, there is a picture of Miss Japan in our photo gallery, in case anyone missed it. She was part of my "research" recently in the breast implant thread. I still can't believe I did that!!

I thought they all looked like Las Vegas showgirls in those theme costumes! Did anyone else see those? Pretty bizarre.

I'm also not a fan of beauty pagents (because of what they represent to women), yet I'm also mysteriously drawn to watching them!! Kind of like a traffic accident--you don't want to look and yet you also can't refrain from looking! Go figure!!

Anyway, that's my two cents, for what it's worth!

I thought Miss Korea was very pretty, but sadly (something I don't agree with because boobs are boobs imho and can be fun regardless of size or shape..), couldn't fill a swimsuit well enough to win in the judge's eyes. Miss Japan was very pretty too, but had too much of a stern 'I know you just did something stupid, so remind me why I go out with you again' look. Miss Nigeria, wasn't bad looking at all and I think looks like she'd be wicked fun to party with. Miss USA looked a little too 'been there, done that'.

I would have picked Korea.

Woah!! Miss Thailand and Miss Colombia are real stunners. Miss Dominica Republic isn't bad either. Looks like I have a soft spot for brunettes! (though I wouldn't call it soft...)
