Oh yea! Now that is an amazing voice. I have alot of his music on MP3. I want to get a video for my mom as she really likes him as well. I never stop being amazed at the range and style his music takes, there is always something that will fit the mood.

Such a pretty smile, he should not hide it. I have seem a couple of interviews and he always seems so quite ( at least in the VERY FEW I have seen ) and shy.

great to see so many Gackt fans. Usually, in more homogenous societies (ie my town), people would be harping on superficial things like:

"he looks like a woman!"
"don't understand, don't wanna bother"
"he looks strange" (MM days)
"he sings strangely. where's the eddie veder roughness?!"
"dude, where's my car!"

I don't mind in the long run. more Gackt for us

It's great that these days his music seems so much more mature, too, with stuff like Tsuki no Uta and Last Song (which is VERY nice). This is my favorite of the various "Gackts" thus far. Can't wait until I get his new album.

And yes, Hyde is great, too. Roentgen is simply my favorite album of all time. His next album will be more heavier, though, so I'll wait and see.

I think MM Gackt is what draws most people into his music.

I'll say this though. Gackt inspires me. I see him, hear him, watch him, whatever; I'm always inspired to be better.

So I'll give him that.

Gotta love the fanservice...I own a concert DVD and well there are some moments where it's like. "I want to be him...just for like a second..."

Oh...not me wanting to be Gackt...just any of the members in his band...it's a fun little word in the Dictionary of J-rock....called "Fanservice" and well...I'm sure you can figure it out *this little comment is aimed at Winter*

*looks at Lo~ki and nods* I just think it's cool that they do that. You really don't see a lot of American artists doing that. I think it's amazing how any band would go to such great lengths to gain their fans affections. That's not what draws me to J-rock or Gackt though...the whole fanservice thing...I like the fact that the music is really heartfelt and deep...no matter what the message is and no matter what the feeling is that it's trying to convey

Ah, I completely agree with you, Klaha! I think what makes music really moving + great is the emotions expressed. I think Gackt does a fantastic job at that. I can't even listen to American music anymore because now to me they all sound like emotionless robots.
