Can anyone provide a firsthand account of the flooding that is going on/ their on perspectives.. Seems pretty serious by the likes of it. Strange, I thought that the forum might be buzzing about this but nothing!!
 
I'm nowhere near there.
 
It's a very local event and affects mostly the Kinugawa River in Ibaraki.
 
Saw a bit about that on the news last night. Damn, talk about your Perfect Storm.
 
I've been following the events on facebook, as reported by a friend in Southern Sendai. It seems that there's been a lot of damage on the east coast, and that while the flooding was creeping north, the waters are beginning to recede, so at least the worst of it is over.
