Fantastic Four Movie Cast News

For any fans of the fabulous FF out there, the principal characters for the live action movie have been cast:

Ioan Gruffudd (Lancelot from "King Arthur") as Reed/Mr. Fantastic
Chris Evans (never heard of him) as Johnny/The Human Torch
Michael Chiklis (Vic Mackey from "The Shield") as Ben/The Thing
Jessica Alba (Dark Angel) as Sue/The Invisible Woman

Sounds pretty cool, especially Jessica Alba. WAHOO!!! I'm guessing the film's villain will be arch enemy Dr. Doom. If the producers don't at least consider uber-movie bad guy Gary Oldman for the part, they will have SERIOUSLY dropped the ball in my mind! He'd be terrific as Doom!

I'm getting tired of all these comics coming to life as movies. Don't get me wrong, spiderman and blade have all been nice films, but i feel they are trying to make 2 many: daredevil, elektra, and others more. It just feels like thare no genuine ideas out there anymore

That's probably why there havee been so many comic book adaptations, because it's pretty much virgin territory for Hollywood. I for one would prefer there be less, say, one or two a year, no more.
