I love the way you dodge discussion by going off about two sentences which don't directly deal with the problem at hand.

You have a short memory. I am not dodging discussion. I am dodging YOU. I am sick of you, your attitude, your short-sightedness, your head games, your false accusations etc. etc. etc. Just be happy I said anything to you at all since declaring I was done with you. Tamayo, Zorro is a lost cause, all he cares about is being "right" and winning every little point, and his head is in so many places fighting so many battles, all you can accomplish is running around in circles with him scratching your head trying to reply to is nonsensical answers. Though it can be entertaining to see what whackadoodle responses he can come up with. Sadly, it fails to hold my attention for long. So as Dave said, let's just stop feeding the troll.

Seems the primary basis for your arguments is shouting insults.

I should say you and Tamayo deserve each other.

How about you two come to some clear agreement about why exactly most or many foreign soldiers in Afghanistan have honor? Then you two can make out.

I should probably open a new thread about this, but is it even possible to be moderate about war?? Is there a stance that can be described as tolerant of war? Does that even make sense when talking about such an extreme subject?

I can't see how I can be labeled an extremist here with any real meaning, for being against war and soldiering on command and as a profession with so little option of quitting. Nor for declaring that there is a macro type of honor and a micro type of honor and that naturally participating in a war of aggression scores you so many negative macro honor points that no amount of micro honor points (saving comrades) will even make up for.

Seems to me I have just taken the time to consider this point rather than just throw my hands in the air and acquiesce about war and the crap that soldiers and others do and say to justify it. Am I an extremist for daring to be critical of wars so obviously ill founded and unjust from the start? Am I an extremist for daring to speak against the status quo of violence and self-righteousness?

I have been labeled an extremist, a troll, a hippie, a question dodger etc. etc. Why? For failing to fall in line with your unthinking adoration of soldiers no matter what they do? Are you in such a hurry to cover their @$$es for actually thinking about all this? Or is it indoctrination talking?

You guys would have been right at home in Nazi Germany cheering on the troops, or just attacking anyone who condemned them, you know that? (Not to equate America with Nazi Germany across the board, but the failure to be critical of the state, the soldiers and the needless war is much the same.)

The spirit of the Vietnam war protestor is truly dead. To you guys, war is just stuff that happens, and no one is responsible, least of all the soldiers who went while failing to think ahead very much. I seriously hope all you guys railing against me find yourself stuck in a war zone as a defenseless civilian. Then maybe you will wake the hell up.

No. I just want you to taste your own god damned medicine, because if you are not against war and massive standing armies and bull$#!T excuses for the same, you may as well be for them all totally.
