im really slow, but yesterday i saw 2 very random episodes of gravitation... its hot...
 
I will admit there is a particular anime that I'm pretty big fan of. While it's not a really full blown out yaoi, there are suggestive yaoi themes hidden within the content if you know what I mean. I'll give a cyber cookie to the person that can tell me what show it is. ^___^

can you post a picture, if it is not too yaoi, but contains a somehow suggestive, hidden yaoi theme. or, a somehow hidden, suggestive yaoi theme. you tell me/us what describes it exactly.
 
It's kind of a parody to actually. The whole show is geared towards the female crowd (female eyecandy). I guess the suggestive themes that are yaoi is the closeness that the characters share towards one another. I'm not going to post a picture from it because it'll give the show away. However, I will say that it was and still is a very big show in Japan, and it centered around four main male characters that travel together.

yaoi is just plainly hot...I had the most awesome experience when I went to JaCon a few weeks ago...I was hagging out my friend and his boyfriend and they were making out all they and getting all physical and stuff...I just felt like I was gonna die of overheating...they even did this three way kiss thing with one of my other guy friends, it was just awesome and they had a bunch of fan girls followingthem all day, they were kinda even being stalked because of how hott of a couple they were...and a lot of ppl were doing yaoi for money and I kept giving my guy friend money to kiss this other guy and I even ended up kissing him at one point...the whole experience just renewed my love for yaoi and I've been reading more fanfics now of Gravi and the jpop band Arashi...the con made it seem like a lot more ppl are turning bi/gay...at times it kinda worries me, because it seems that a lot of good looking guys are gay...oh well, I still think its hot..lol ^^

Yea it's based on a Chinese myth. I love the manga but the quality of anime is really decreasing. It sad cause a lot of the manga I like the shows are really pathetic. The colors are boring. Not enough shadowing and lighting. Scenery is bland... just all around poor quality.

I believe Pyscho le Cemu used the myth as a basis for one of their videos too. Though I don't remember which one at the moment. :?

Ohh... and yea. There are definite hidden yaoi aspects. I swear my head isn't making them up for this one. Haha... I love when Gojyo says -- "Hell, Sanzo! You'd have to be sick not to be a little turned on by that girl. Unless you're a homo. Are you a homo? Better watch my ***!"
 
Well I also like how Gojyo calls him "Lord Prissy Monk" in the manga. However, it does suck that the anime is getting worse. Reloaded is about as crappy as they come. Still the original tv show was great. My two favorite lines are from Gojyo and Goku's.

Gojyo: *after getting hit with Sanzo's fan* "Hey! What kind of faggot fights with a fan?!"

Goku: *after finding out that Gojyo hasn't brought back any food yet* "Where's my dinner you ****?!"

Let me guess, from his pants right? You know if you really do think about it, when he doesn't have his robes on you know he has got to have that stupid fan "hidden" somewhere else. You know what the funny thing is? My best friend loves Saiyuki so much that it's his favorite anime/manga of all time. Yet, no matter how much I try to point out the heavy yaoi in it he still doesn't believe me. He thinks that the relationship with Sanzo and Goku is just a father and son type thing. I some aspects I can see that, but I think there is more to it. To me, it's blantely obvious that Sanzo is gay. The reason why I know this is because the only two straight guys in the group (Hakkai and Gojyo) tease him about it.

In all honesty I think the reason why Sanzo does the tough guy act is because he's in denial. (Well and due to his master's death it kind of hardened him too.) At least that's what I think. All I know is that my best friend is both naive and in denial over the facts. Hell in volume one of the manga it shows the Merciful Goddess as a hermaphordite. You think that wouldn't be a clue that it was a yaoi based manga, but no I'm just dillusional. By the way, he hates Reloaded with a passion. It's not even done by the same development team. Genon really messed it up for the American fans too. Bastards.

No, but it just came out here in the States I think. My friend was going on about it. Honestly I think Greg Ayres just plain rocks as Goku compared to the Japanese actor. He just sounds more believable.

Of course you think it's nasty, because you are a guy. Besides, we're talking about yaoi/shonen ai. Which, as I've said before, more popular among the female audience. Do you think it's nasty for two guys to have an emotional relationship? Because that's mostly what shonen ai is. There's nothing sexual about it. Just a question dear

And please explain to me how how is girlxgirl ok but boyxboy is not. If boyxboy is like men with children or animals shouldn't as equal beings girlxgirl be just as bad? I'm not sure I understand your reasoning.

this manga is displayed in our local media market. now, would you recommend it for buying? i mean, does it include girls, that's my question? the cover looks cute. you tell me, if it is full of kissing scenes, which are not too cute to my taste.

Have you even seen any yaoi? You seem to be making the assumption that the whole thing is sexually based. There is more than just sex. Besides most of us are more shonen-ai fans. Two men together can be just as beautiful as two women. I am shocked how you react to this seeing as you find women together beautiful. Really I can not understand where you are coming from. You continualy smear the relationship of gay men and promote the relationships of gay women. How as equal beings can that be consider just? It's very discriminatory.

I'm glad you are going to stop. You will only provoke the people of this thread to become angry with you. They will think you are putting them down and saying they are disgusting to you for liking such things... or atleast that's the impression I get from you. Be happy I am the one shunning you... some people aren't as forgiving as I am.
 
Don't listen to him pinkkillerkisou. There are many reasons as to why yaoi is more unique. For a guy to have an emotional relationship or perhaps even sexual is usually a taboo in this kind of society. So, to me, it's obviously more challenging for a guy who is in this kind of situation. And it makes for an interesting story. But of course whenever a guy comments that a relationship between two guys is sickening, he is possibly only looking at the sexual aspect. The same way with two girls. And I'm sorry sgt. pepper if you find it sickening, but the idea of two guys being together is rather fanscinating, wether it's emotional or sexual.
 
For the most part whether you're male, female, straight, gay, etc yaoi and even yuri is okay as long as it's done tastefully.

I find yaoi disgusting but yuri attractive. BUT i know i am a hyppocrite....... I=The Pathetic.
