But you know... it was Mikael who turned out to be a bad guy (moreover an insane one) ... but yeah, he still managed to come out really cute, but that beside the point... Raphael was the only good and normal guy in that series... that kinda breaks the bad seme/good uke rule in some way...

I never saw the Swedish film, but I suspected it was either of Swedish, German, or some other country close to one another in that region. How could I tell? Volvo police car and the gun was a Sig Sauer (which is a Swiss gun company, but the guns are made in Germany). Plus the uniform and location were a dead giveaway too that it was somewhere in Sweden and around those areas with the design of the buildings. Very European. That clip was an avatar from a member at the Running With Scissors board (RWS is the makers of the Postal 2. The same game series that got banned in Sweden for a while by some loser in the government. )Yes Fletch is a great movie. It's my favorite comdey of all time. I memorized the lines from that movie too.

First of all, I'm just giving you guys a hard time. I find it funny that you love homosexual hentai with two guys, but absolutely freak out about the same thing with two women. Second of all, I never said anything was wrong with two men being together. Some of my friends are homosexual and it doesn't bother me. Homosexuals are people just you and me. Third, I just find it strange that you girls like to see two guys kissing, but then again like I posted earlier in this thread I think it has to do with the same thing with men and lesbians. You guys deep down want to be part of the action. I mean what women wouldn't want to do it with two guys that are very sensitive in emotion, and very passionate during sex? Ok, ok, I get you. It's OK. Actually, I agree with what you said.. or partly. I mean, I can see why I like yaoi. It's two men. And I love pretty bishonen - so when there's two of them I guess that's even better! And, seing them as emotional and loveable as they usually are in shonen-ai moves me.

Maybe I DO want to be part of the action. One of my friends (guy friend) told me about the same thing.. that what I really wanted was to be part of the action and that I dream about a guy (or two) that are as emotional and passionate as in the yaoi series, and that's why I like yaoi.
He also told me the reason I like yaoi is because my self consciousness and self esteem is really low (he assumed) and I can't really bear the though of actually being with these guys - instead I choose to safely watch them together..
Yaoi, with two men, instead of a man and a woman, also gives the girls reading/watching the yaoi a sense of ownership, since there's no girl rivaling and taking the love from the male characters... I'm not sure this is how I feel, but that's been said about yaoi...

Men in Japan has explained the yaoi phenomena as a 'sex-fright' among young women. Loving yaoi=being scared of sex? (I don't think so)

But.. at the same time, japanese popculture really supports the whole yaoi culture.. feminine, beautiful, thin guys are really popular in media or among women, and man x man action is popular too. Even in childrens animes (as said before)... It's puzzling.. since I can see a line drawn between being Gay and being Yaoi. Being Gay isn't popular, at least not in the 'Gay' way. Being occasionally 'Yaoi', on the other hand, is really popular (among men)

Last: I've got no problem with girl x girl action. It's not attractive, that's all. But I don't hate it or think it wrong in any way.

There are guys who are in tune with themselves and are not macho. To be honest I hate macho crap. There are very few testostrone filled activities and intrests that I like. There are men out there, you just have to look for them.

I agree with what you said. I think there problem is that there seem to be two 'groups' of men - either you're really 'guyish' and manly and act like you're 'supposed' to, OR you're feminine. And ALL feminine guys are considered homosexual. What people don't seem to accept are guys who explore their more feminie sides WITHOUT being gay.

What's interesting is that part of the yaoi phenomena has nothing to do with homosexuality. It's more a fascination for feminine men spending time together because it's beautiful when they do. They don't have to be gay, they only have to be together. Jrockers do the 'fanservice' yaoi-things with eachother, not because they are gay (in most cases), but because they want to attract their female fans!
