昨晩、寝る前にもう少しだけと分析を進めていた、スピアヘッド戦隊の戦闘の記録。書き手の怜悧さを窺わせる、的確にまとめられた戦闘報告書に、〈ジャガーノート〉のミッションレコーダーのデータファイル。何故か哨戒報告書だけは相変わらずの内容の無さだが、それ以外はまさに宝の山そのもの、対〈レギオン〉戦闘における情報の宝庫だ。

It's for quotation. 昨晩、寝る前にもう少しだけ（分析を）やろうと思って/考えて分析を進めていた makes more sense?

Grammatically, it's a clause to modify スピアヘッド戦隊の戦闘の記録, so the structure of the paragraph is like this.

The record~. The date files~. They are truly a treasure trove itself, ...
