For some reason chicken raising communities come up on my Facebook feed every now and then and it always seems like when peoples' chickens escape they are always happy to have them return. In fact they don't really want them to go elsewhere to roost. In other words, why wouldn't you want your chickens to come home? Just a rhetorical question.

If Trump was a conventional hoodlum who punished his detractors while rewarding loyalty, there would be more benefit to Takaichi holding her nose and uttering platitudes about peace and prosperity. However, his behaviour over the last year suggests that he'll turn on his allies whenever it suits him, which is why I think such platitudes are not the best way. Constant pressure and criticism work better with Trump: he either caves in or becomes friendly with the opponent; he got on well with Kim Jong-Un during his first term, despite them initially trading barbs.
One would hope. But with current technology and society where conspiracies and falsehoods propagate more widely than facts I'm not very hopeful.
