Accounts in America often get closed quickly these days, after only about a year or two of inactivity. It's a real pain in the arse because the money is given to your state and you have to go through a process to get it back. Check here or in the state where the account is located. If you haven't touched the account in years, chances are it's closed out.Thanks
I ran into a problem. Japan does not use the 9 digits routing numbers. They only use the alphabets. The form does not take it. So I'm trying one other option with a bank in America, but my account there, well, I sent them an email regarding this matter and it seems like they refuse to help me out.
I don't know even if they closed my account due to its non-activity or something else may have happened.
