This bought back bad memories. The company I worked for back in 1975 ran an secret connection into the city sewer system to dump their dangerous liquid waste. The company also generated solid waste which they dumped on the banks of the nearby river and covered with leaves to hide it. Out of the 50 employees , about 35 died of some type of cancer. It was all done to save money from doing things the right way. They also used asbestos products well after they were banned. I'm sure many companies still do the same thing today.
