"Near" is relative.I thought Malaysia was south from China:?
"Near" is relative.
it's because both countries are much closer to each other than either is to the U.S. (as you get farther from home, your sense of scale shrinks); because Asia is so huge, so the distance between the countries looks small in comparison; and also because China itself is huge, so Singapore doesn't look that far from it compared to China's own size. Oh, and maybe some blame falls on common map projections which tend to shrink distances near the equator.
Yeah. That last paragraph pretty much sums it all up. China is so HUGE that in a map Singapore and China look very close together.
hello i come from Romania! (east-european country, member of the EU)
Hello!
oh! sorry! my mistake that I had chosen other. It was European Union...I read fast and I made this little mistake. Sorry again!
So I'm from Romania as you can see my little flag, but not many know about Romania, just because is little.
Well I'm born here but my mom is half Greek and half German, and my dad is 99,99% Hungarian (the rest he doesn't know...funny!)
Nice to meet you all!
49 pages? Good thing I didn't try to read them all.
