Chinese/Muslim

Are you a muslim? Do you know a little about Islam?
I don't care English, American,Canadian or any other people convert to muslim because I respect muslim and Islam, but I opppose Chinese people convert to muslim.
reason:
1)Islam is full of fallacy.muslim always say "Anyone can be a muslim" but never say "Any Muslim can be a non-muslim", that words, Islam is like a boat which is easy to enter in but difficult to come out for you and your descendants.
2)Islam is full of culture-aggression. Muslim always say they are the most excellence people in the universe and a true muslim must discard all your former nationalities and become a "new" guy with "new" habits. maybe you can't discard your former nationalities clearly but how could your sons and your grandsons?
3)All muslims are brothers. This means an English,American or Canadian could be a brother of Arabs. Can I ask a muslim who is your more conversant brethren between a foreign muslim and a native non-muslim?
I don't oppose Islam indeed, Islam has many advantages and we should learn from, but learning from you doesn't imply I must become a muslim.
How can you oppose those who want to convert to Islam? Strange. Everyone can choose whatever religion they want. My dad's a Chinese/Buddhist converted to Muslim and my mom's a Malay/Muslim. He's still a Chinese and during Chinese New Year, we as a family will go visit our Ah Ma (or also known as grandmother) It's his wish to convert. No one forced him to become a Muslim. Also, in Singapore, there are muslims who convert to other religions. It's really up to them. It's not true to discard former nationalities. What do you mean by that? Anyway, Muslims are able to adopt other cultures and traditions eg. Muslims can have Chinese names (my chinese name is Lin Xin Ru) Muslims can use chopsticks to eat, Muslims can do yoga, Muslims can play ping pong, Muslims can do taichi, Muslims can participate in Chinese caligraphy - Basically, Muslims can do many things as long as Muslims know their basic Islamic principles. All Muslims are brothers and sisters - regardless of race (skin colour), language and attitude. Yep, true that learning from Islam doesn't need you to be a Muslim. An example, as you can see in Singapore, cigarettes are being cut down. Islam teaches us that smoking is best not to be consumed because it gets you addicted and as you know, it can cause many diseases such as colon cancer. Hopefully, this will clear your doubt about Islam.

thnak you Nurul_Lim for your participation ...
and I agree with you and this guy where from bring this information ??!!!!
any one can muslim and form any place ...

and what islam teaches us ( more speaking than Nurul_Lim ) smoking harm to health and this sceince view but islam didn't say that but say we aviod to use anything harm to our bodies ... and with this speaking it's General speaking and gather all harm thing to aviod .....

Hi everyone, it's my first post on this forum..

I live in the UK and I am a Muslim studying Japanese. I would also like to meet Japanese Muslims. :)

There are quite a few mosques around Tokyo and Yokohama. Metropolis did a feature on muslims in Japan about a year ago I think.

hi, i'm amir, a muslim from malaysia. i've been in Japan on may last year and i went to Tokyo Mosque in Shibuya. most of the muslims i saw there are foreign, mostly from pakistan & bangladesh,I'm happy to see few japanese muslims, man & women. few of them put scarf on their head and the others were not. i dont know the reason but maybe they just converted to islam...i dunno..but to see japanese come to the mosque make me feel happy...

It's beautiful to see some Nihon muslims :)

I want to go to Japan soon Incha Allah :) and I want some contacts thereplease ^_^

Japanese muslims or Chinese ones !!

Subhan Allah, it's so good to hear that there are muslims in Japan.

it's not strange to see japanese muslims coz there is schools in Japan for Islam religion and Arabic language , but it's strange and rare to see muslims in China ....

nice to meet you all MUSLIMS :)

Try Zen

I'm afraid many people consider Islam a dangerous religion nowadays because of all the fanatic extremists. I think Japanese are very wary of this image and tend to shy away from the religion.

Have you ever studied Zen? If you are in Japan, I encourage you to try it rather than looking for Japanese coverts.

I don't think so katsumot, ;)
I saw a documentary about muslims in China and they are many ;)

i wonder if islamic countries and muslim people studied other eastern religions ecpecially Buddhism...i have known muslim-asian people converted to Buddhism particularly in Nichiren Buddhism...i have friend also an ex-muslim who is practicing nichiren buddhism now...there are also buddhists working and living in arab-muslim countries..i have known there were nichiren buddhist community group in the muslim-arab world...its good to see there were arab-buddhist also....

my wish that islamic countries are being more tolerant to other religions rather than shunning all other religious groups...

my country for example doesn't teach any other religion, to tell the truth it doesn't either teach our religion "Islam" so our people are ignorants about their own religion and that's why they converts to other religion ;) it's not because they found that Islam is not truth, they don't know anything about it ;)

I guess, that's basically the same thing with other religions not only in islam. But not all convert to other religions or become apostates its because they dont know about their religious beliefs or teachings. For instance, my ex-muslim friend for 4 years, who was a christian before, had studied islamic theology in one of the Islamic center in the Philippines. He is pretty much indoctrinated with Islam and have deep faith in its beleifs. However, when he opened his minds and encountered Nichiren Buddhism. He give it a try and find buddhist philosophy and practise more appealing and working in his daily life. He knew that islamic and buddhist principles are different in the perspectives on the view of life..

So Islam is the true religion huh and all the other religions are mistaken? Funny thing is that almost every religion seems to suggest this.

that is what islam teaches and indoctrinating muslims to believe in without questioning their beliefs... and telling you what to believe and what not to believe..i dont buy this kind of blind faith..
