How tall are you ?

I'm 5' 7". My father was 6' my mother is 5'. I got the middle. I would love to be a couple inches taller. I'm the shortest male in the family.
 
I'm about 177 cm :P And I think I stop growing. Sometimes I wish I was shorter.
 
Noticed the last post on this thread was in November of last year... but I think it's fun, so perhaps this post will help getting some attention :)

As for my height, I'm 1.82m, which makes me rather tall for a girl I guess, but I live in the Netherlands, so there's still quite some people here who are taller than I am (luckily).

Though it might be a bit strange when I go to Japan next year! Heard a guy in one of the senior years was stalked by hordes of Japanese girls who wanted to take his picture! But he's over 2m, so I guess he stands out a bit more :)

People are going to notice you BIG time. 🙂 My sister is as tall as you are and when she was here people "noticed" her right away. There aren't too many Japanese females over 180cm tall.

Yeah I guess that's very true. Have never even met a Japanese guy who was taller than I am :) But that being '"noticed" ... can I just expect people pointing at me or will I be stalked by hordes of Japanese with cameras as well? :S

I know!! And I am 184 cm, 1 cm short of average.. Argh!!
I used to be the shortest kid in class until the end of middle school though. Being bullied and all, being called "short" or "small" is the one thing I can't stand even today. 😌
 
I'm 5'4 and actually felt short in Japan because all the ladies were tall with their high heeled shoes.

I like to wear those when I'm surrounded by tall people!😊
O.o...but it actually still isn't enough the girls in my grade are 5'5-5'6 or more..☝
 
just signed up tonight. I'm 5'11", which in metric would make me about 1m,80cm.
:eek: . is that average as far as this forum is concerned? i don't know. oh well.
 
I know I've said it millions of times before, but I am 6'4.
 
I'm exactly the same height as Michiyo~ (163cm).
What I'm afraid of right now is when I start to shrink... *sweats*
