Youtube Video To Practice Japanese

Hey everyone

Has anyone ever thought about this? Well, I have. I decided that I'd start making videos in Japanese on youtube in order to practice my speaking as well as more vocab. and grammar and such.

If anyone else posts videos in Japanese, please post them here!

Anyway, the point of this post is that I wanted to have some of you watch/listen to them and help me. Were there any sentences/words that sounds awkward/out of place? Anything that doesn't make any sense? Anything that is plainly incorrect? Things of that nature... I suppose that if I continue to make these types of videos in the future, I'll post them in this thread (if this thread last that long ).

I guess this thread can be for anyone who has made videos and perhaps wants corrections, comments, etc. If not, than I guess it's just me.


Anyway, I have two videos (in Japanese) posted so far.

I decided to post it here rather than as comment on Youtube. As I told you in the chatroom, it's mostly particles.

（１）実は、母のカメラを使っているので、今、質はよくなりますね。
=> 実は、今回、母のカメラを使っているので、画質（がしつ；picture quality ) がよくなりました。

（２）日本語の発音が難しく過ぎないと思いますが、時々だれかと話してみるのが難しいです。
=> 日本語の発音は難しく過ぎないと思いますが、時々だれかと話してみると、難しいです。

（３）日本人がとても、とても早く話すと思って、日本人のように話やすくないです。
日本人はとても、とても早く話すと思うので、日本人のように話すのはやさしくないです。

（４）日本語の文法と英語の文法が違うので、日本語で話してみて、思ってみたら、遅く話すでしょう。
日本語の文法は英語の文法と違うので、日本語で話してみて、思ってみたら、遅く話すでしょう。(This one needs more improvement. What exactly did you want to say?)

（５）ひらがなとカタカナが簡単だとおもいますが、漢字が難しくなりますよ。

（６）この漢字がもっと簡単なのでしょう。
この漢字はもっとも簡単なものです。
この漢字は一番簡単なものです。

（７）一日（ついたち）
You may already have checked it and know, but the exceptional reading like this comes from the fact that native Japanese words have been applied on readings of Chinese characters that are identical in definition but are actually pronounced differently in Chinese.

（８）だけど、英語に動詞は次で、日本語に最後です。
だけど、英語では動詞が次で、日本語では最後です。

（９）「は」と「を」が翻訳しにくい言葉の例です。
Again, particles are one of the most difficult elements of the Japanese language to master. Practice "ga," too.

（１０）英語やほかの言葉を勉強したら、どんなこと、この言葉に、難しいですか？
I'm not sure what you mean here...

For number 4, I was trying to say "Since Japanese and English grammar as different, I probably speak slowly when I try to speak and think in Japanese."

...now thinking of it, it doesn't make much sense in English...haha.

For number number 10, I was trying to say "If you're learning English or another language or somethign liek that, what types of things are hard in that language?"

Thanks for all the corrections! It really helped me get a better grip on why it was wrong, and now I can try to not make the same mistakes in the future! And yes, particles can be hard sometimes, especially when trying to figure out when to use ga and wa... But i'll tyr my best to get better
