you know your a jref member when.....

I know I'm a jref member when something happens to me 'in real' and I find myself thinking 'I must tell [insert jref forum member name here] about this!' :giggle:

Also, I can say I feel as if I'm 'too much' of a jref member (or just too much on the internet, maybe!) when my 'to do' list contains names of people I have never actually met... 😊

Or, when you make yourself late for your 'real life' appointment because you're typing a post... 😌

Fortunately I have never experienced my house burning down around my ears, so I don't know whether I would feel compelled to sit at my PC and post about it while calmly waiting for the fire brigade to hoist me out... 😌 ... however, there is a library with internet almost directly opposite my house, so if it ever happens, rest assured I can keep you updated on the progress of the conflagration, in perfect safety. :-)

(because it started eating into my job)

At least, now I know I'm not the only one... 😌

I keep thinking I should post less, but most of my posts are rapidfire and forget, so... my postcount is deceptive, most of them are oneline crap. 😌

Also, every time a truck passes by, I look in hope that I might see Mike Cash! 😌
I have thought that about Mycernius!

I'm in that club too. A couple of weeks ago I couldn't access JREF at work for a whole morning. My first thought was that work had been monitoring my access and blocked the forum. Luckily it came back on after a few hours, but I was really starting to wonder what I would do all day!

I heard that.

For a while I couldn't stay off JREF, but I had to slow down a bit because of work pressures.
This echoes what has happened to my personal life - my job often gets in the way.
I have been trying to arrange to have lunch with a friend from my old company for about a month now. Everytime the day comes around either he is busy or I am. It sucks!

However, I do still feel a need to come back here now and again, when I can.

I felt part of the Jref members, when i got pm's, and rep points about my good posts, people talking about me.....

funny it is, because i dont think my post in here are that good.. 😌

When I'm sat in traffic thinking about threads I have read and what I could say in them. Either that or thinking "That might make a good thread"

You shortchange yourself, Dutch! Your posts must be pretty darn good since you've got lots more rep points than a schmuck like me!

:D

When I speak to my 'live' friends about my jref friends without mentioning the forum (ie. the medium). Eg. a friend of mine said this or that...
