sure....I think that Allah create us and we are all here to worship him only and build the earth, then everyone will go either to heaven or to the hellfire and living their eternally........based on his deeds

this is what I think as a muslim, I am interested in the others thoughts, I posted this question in another forum and I really got some interesting and strange replies. I wonder how things will go here.:-)

I was created to rule the world!

wow.....so what kind of ruling is it? explain more please...is it like to be responsible of some kind of people or ???

I wonder how things will go here.:-)

People who believe in one thing say "This is how it is.", then others will say, "No, it isn't.", to which the former reply, "Uh huh.", then the latter will counter that with, "Nuh uh.".

No... Nothing to difficult... I was just created to rule the world. Basically it involves the usuall things like telling people the way it should be and what needs to be done, and don't forget the fact that creating life was also part of my existance here on this earth.

Evidence please, otherwise it is just a factless opinion. After all there are plenty of others would say that their particular god created them.

I exist because of my parents, and somehow I suspect the same goes for everyone on this planet. No god, no spirit, no magical pink unicorn. It is biology.

Billions of years of careful evolution, the survival of only the very fittest of the fittest have finally lead to,,,,,,me. Hmmmmm, maybe I should do a bit of jogging tomorrow :-)

Mycernius : I just want to know ...

you're athiest that mean you believe the world create alone or you want to see God to believe ....
what do you think about that ???

good thing that you feel responsible toward the other

sure :-)
I will bring the evidence from my own religion, the only one book that we relied on which is the Quran.
we submit ourselves to our creator as it said in Quran:
Say: truly, my prayer and my service of sacrifice, my life and my death, are (all) for ALLAH, the cherisher of the worlds:
[6:162]
and another verse...what allah said about the men in the world
I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me.
[51:56]
I can put more if you need but I really dont have the time to go through the whole Quran....but if you really want to I will try my best :-)
If you existed because of your parent.....then your parent existed because of their parents......then.........then until where?
do you think that all these billions of people existed because of their previous ancestors.....and thats all what is this life about?

I exist because I am.
explain more please....:?

Quotes from a book do not make evidences. You happen to believe in the book and find much importance in it while I do not.

If you existed because of your parent.....then your parent existed because of their parents......then.........then until where?
Until you go back to the molecules that evolved into the earliest lifeform on earth.

do you think that all these billions of people existed because of their previous ancestors.....and thats all what is this life about?
Why not? You believe your life is about worshipping your God. If you cannot grasp the idea of others having different ideas, then there is no point to this thread.

you dont like books?
can ask you a question?
are you an atheist?
I might explain it to you according to your belief if you dont mind
Why not? You believe your life is about worshipping your God.
To me....yeah because depend on this worshiping it will be decided whether I will go to hell or to the heaven

sorry:sorry:
I did not mean anything wrong, just want understand why you thought that way
sorry if that offend you.........

I dunno, guess I was just trying to be cryptic and mysterious to give the false sense that I had some deeper knowledge or wisdom.

Why the long face?

If your almighty sky daddy can actually take the time to show that it actually exists then I might change my mind. As it has not fulfilled that in any shape or form, then I refuse to believe in what is essentially a superstition that ranks along with Santa Claus, the tooth fairy and faires

the Allah create us to worship him .....
and make us know more about this world
What a wonderful, vainglorious god you worship. That is one very good reason not to worship it.
The other reason is that if we were created to find out about the world how come so much shows that god doesn't exist and we end up with anti-science fools like Kent Hovind, Ken Ham, Harun Yahya, and too many too mention that go back to their holy books to try and prove svience wrong when it isn't.

good thing that you feel responsible toward the other

I could just as easily bring the bible into this rather feeble argument for the existance of allah. The bible says that god exists and Jesus was his son who died for our sins so we may all have eternal life. Or maybe the vedic scriptures that show that Brahma created the world. Or we could go to Shinto , Buddhism, Judaism. Do you see the pattern emerging. A holy book or scripture is not evidence for the existance for your god, because it invalidates itself when faced with other such books that adherents to that faith says that it shows that their gods or go exists. Christians say that Islam is heretical, Jews say Christianity is heretical, Muslims say that the Ba'hais are heretical, because the all beleive that their book is the only truth.

If you existed because of your parent.....then your parent existed because of their parents......then.........then until where?

It is called evolution, which started from abiogenesis, which started from chemistry, which started when a nearby star exploded billions of years ago. You don't even need a planet for some life giving chemicals to form. Nebulae are full of all sorts of weird and wonderful chemicals. Water is one of the most common molecul;es in the universe. Essentially we are stardust.

Consider this analogy. Thousands of years ago a glacier carved out a great hole in the ground as it moved. When the ice melted the groove filled with water. In it fish evolved. If the fish in that lake could think like us they would say this lake is perfect for us. It protects us, gives us life, is not too hot or cold, therefore it was created for us, therefore a god created it and looks after us. Yet the lake is natural created purely by nature. The fish that live in it are there purely by chance because that lake is right for them. We are those fish, here by chance because the universe is the right lake for us.

I don't really bother if people believe a God created us, or not... to me it doesn't answer the question why???

I dunno why I'm here. Duhhhh.

I can only say I will never know...

I sometimes wonder if we're all just part of some very elaborate simulation, and whoever is running it really decided to screw with me.

Birth: Give him a mental disorder. That's a great start. Hmm, it's gotta be obscure so his parents don't discover it until much later. How about Asperger's Syndrome? That's only known in Europe at the moment. It won't be discovered in the US for a long time yet. They'll probably just think he has ADD instead.

Childhood: Oh crap, he's made some friends in his neighborhood over the last several years. Let's move them all away at the same time. On top of that, kill off his grandma.

Hmm, to torture him some more, let's give him a strong interest in a foreign country that he can never get into. England? No, that's too easy, he fluently speaks the language for Pete's sake. How about somewhere with a culture so different he'll never adapt! Japan... Yes! Perfect! Not only is the culture so different from the US, but they hate foreigners. He'll never be able to get in. On top of that, let's make him not be a fan of their food but everything else. He'll never be able to even go there on vacation 'cuz he'll starve to death!

High School: Can't let him learn Japanese. Let's eliminate it from the curriculum, and not reinstate it until after he graduates! Mwahahaha! Now he'll be forced to learn a language he will hardly ever use!

College: Now he's a year into his degree. Let's make him absolutely hate where he's stuck for the next three. Give him SAD. He's in Seattle, one of the cloudiest places on earth, he'll absolutely hate it, and his friends will hate him for complaining about it.

Now: We must make his classes absolutely miserable. Long nights with 12+ hours of homework. So much so that he'll contemplate dropping the degree he's two quarters from getting, and have to start all over! Also, make him think that employers will be clawing over him just because he has a degree. Don't let him find out that you need experience as well until it's too late. Then he'll absolutely freak out.

I'm sorry :( Want a hug?

If we came from the big bang, or something similar, where did the all of those factors that would have to be there for it to occur come from?

I myself am agnostic by the way.

Sounds like some people have been reading Richard Dawkins. Brilliant man, and one I happen to agree with. If anyone wants to know how athiests view god, you can check out his interviews on youtube.

I exist because my mommy and daddy had sex. Thank you for bringing this awful image into my mind...

Imma go cry now.:(
