I train Kung Fu (Choy Lay Fut Style) and sometimes I play soccer, after all, I live in the country of the soccer, lol.

I also like to play Table Tenis and volleyball, but I hardly ever play.

I was coming here to make a thread, and here there is one already! :-)

As well as sports, I thought people can say about exercise (and health in general if you like ^^), because not everyone plays sports, and some things are 'exercise' but not considered as a 'sport', but it's still interesting maybe to find out how people stay in good health. :)

As for me... I used to go to the gym; I went for about 2 years and really love it, I like to use the treadmill, rowing machine and weights the best. :-) I was aiming to gain some weight... but I actually gained more than I bargained for! >< (going from 105 pounds to around 133! ) so I decided not to do so much exercise... so I stopped going so often to the gym, and lost about half of that extra. ^^

But I still need to do exercise... I am both lucky and unlucky in that I have the kind of body that really needs almost constant exercise (short, stocky, heavy in muscle but can't afford to carry any extra weight -_-) and I have a sedentary job. (If I was a cavewoman I'd be laughing; not so good for an Office Lady! T_T) I do quite a lot of walking but that's not really enough.

Also, the gym is a bit expensive for me; it's difficult to afford it. :(

I like to dance! 😄 ... and that's not really classified as 'sport'... hehe... but I guess you can say it's 'exercise'. I dunno if what I do could be graced by the title 'dance'... XD... something like 'expressive movement' probably fits the bill better, except that sound well pretentious! :giggle: Anyway, I do 45-60 minutes of dance on most days, because that's something I can do at home and it doesn't cost me anything. :-) 🕺

I used to do a lot of cycling up until I moved to the city, and on my vacations I still like to do this, but sadly it's over a year since I went on a cycle camping tour. 😭

I'm unlucky in that none of my friends are sporty at all, so I can't do stuff like play tennis with them, even though I enjoyed it at school. PE was one of my (few) strong subjects, my favourites were hockey, gymnastics, tennis, badminton and swimming. I wasn't very good at netball (gahh that sucked! ><), it was boring and I was too short... XD

I bet all those weights you did gain were muscles, Kinsao! I was surprised to see my rapid weight gain, just like you did, from 106 lbs to 120 lbs since I started to climb the mountains last summer.

I am a kind of person who has a hard time sitting still for a long time, my body gets stiff if I don't move around more than 8 hours a day, although I don't get along with people who make those jerky movements like they are on some kind of drugs.

When I was younger in my early 20s, I took dance lessons in Japan, which became my reason of coming to the states, but taking a few lessons in NY was as far as I got.

Backpacking in the mountains is my favorite thing to do right now, and this winter, now that I got my new amazing backpack, I'm getting ready for the winter mountaineering.
I can't wait!

nothing i enjoy is on the list!!!

volleyball and golf. tennis occasionally.

i used to ski, play basketball, soccer, softball and badminton....

I used to play football for a club from age 6 till 17. I still play some football now and then with friends but rarely. I do practise freestyle football, which is doing keep ups with a ball and performing tricks. Pretty intensive. I started 3 years ago and since 2006 I give performances now and then at all kind of events. Pretty cool cause you get in contact with so many interesting people, and ofcourse I earn some cash with it.

When I go out with a friend we also play snooker now and then at this bar. I love to see snooker on tv and doing it yourself is great fun too, although we used to embarras ourselves in the beginning. It's harder as you may expect. And something I very rarely do (cause it's pretty expensive) but absolutely love is kart racing. People out there who don't feel like kart racing is a sport should do it some time cause it's very tyring. Both mentaly and physicaly.

I ride my sportbike when I can
