Which Olympics event will you be the most interested in?

I have added a poll. That will be easier to see the popularity of each sport. Sorry, had to put some sports together due to lack of space.

I chose tennis, table tennis, martial arts, football, baseball, basketball and aquatics.

In fact, I am more interested by the number of medals each country gets than watching the games.

The one were they ski and shoot targets(winter only). They come here to Maine to train quite often in the winters.

That's at the Winter Olympics... in 2 years...

Yeah, I know what you mean Maciamo - I find the medal table perhaps the most interesting part. But I ticked athletics, gymnastics, tennis, football and hockey.

it'd be interesting to see the US Basketball team not being able to get the gold medal,I mean this year's US men's basketball team really suck [and yet they are so arrogant],especially when compared to the pre-2000 Dream Teams, this year's team is the 'Daydream Team', and Allen Iverson,the guy who beats his wife and threaten his relatives with a gun,and said things like 'practice is not important,MVP should not come off the bench', is actually named one of the captains of the US basketball team,how sad.................

I was recording the opening ceremony,I paused it for commercial break,and could not resume it until team Japan coming out,so I missed recording the team USA part and half of the team Japan part,stupid VCR!!!!!!! :auch:

Yeah, I am looking forward to watching soccer, track and field, and some martial arts. I just realized there are tons of Countries/Territories that I never heard of before. For example, Micronesia, I have no clue where that is located, and there were are lot more places as well (However, I can't think of the rest of them off the top of my head).

thats the great of the Olimpics, im interested in ALL of them!!! well, only if the dutch are in it,, i even watch horse ridding then!!!!

but most of all i like swimming, as we have a PVH and some other great swimmers,,, i wanted to follow japan in the last olympics, but mmm not much on tv about them...

I'm an old oarsman ... rowing would be my thing.

But I'm also interested in the gymnasts - always think of the physical pain my own body would endure during some of those exercises ....... !
