I was looking at the poll's result and was quite surprised to see there are almost as many Europeans as Americans! I was born and now live in Switzerland (after an interlude in Italy). I've been twice to Japan, and would love to go back there asap *s*

To keep on topic: I am from Belgium, always lived here, been at many places, but not Japan yet :-(

Wow, I'm very impressed with this forum. We truly have an international body here. It'll be great to hear all of the differnet opinions. Honestly though, too bad we don't have more people from Japan here (at least the poll doesn't say so). It would provide even further insight to our discussions. Oh, and I'm from the USA (but all my friends tell me I should be from Japan or some other east asian country - and I'm caucasian ).

I was being a bit cheeky. Stoke-on-Trent is very famous for its pottery, like Royal Doulton and Wedgwood. But we didn't really invent it!
