It's in no way an attack on China, though I would say you are concretely making an attack on Europe, by your standards of the word 'attack'.

Rather, it's a humorous jest at the fact that, keeping in mind the wacky history of civilization, a trans person winning a pop song contest is hardly evidence of anything. I'll take that over witch-burnings, ghost marriages, holy crusades, genocide, whatever. Now that I type that, I would definitely say the world wars rooted in Europe made a worse impression on me than a trans gender winning a pop song contest.

She/he is a tran itself, so I do not think her view represent Chinese society. Also, I have no issue with Jing Xin, she's fine, she does not disgust me.
