What is your favorite Rpg?

My favorite RPG is actually more of a adventure rpg and released for the PC. Anyone familiar with the Quest for Glory series? Though if it has to be a console rpg I stick with Dragon Warrior IV or Valkyrie Profile with Star Ocean 2 in there too.

My favourite two RPGs would have to be Final Fantasy VII and Xenogears. I've played A LOT of RPGs as well

My favourite RPG is a tie between Star Wars KOTOR and Star Wars KOTOR II: The Sith Lords both of wich are for the PC. I'm such a ****** for Star wars stuff

@Reiku: seriously? I've played throught the first .hack game and I can't say im impressed at all, the controll, fighting system, item system is kind of lame and boring. The story is the only thing that is good and that you can choose jap voices(if I remember correctly ^^). Otherwise I did'nt enjoy the game so much, The impression I have of "The World" is far greater.

@Vodkee: hope you will enjoy the whole game, I love it. The story is perfect imho.

definitly the final fantasy series esp 10 and 11
kotor series is great and so is the diablo franchise
but final fantasy takes the cake, the icing, the candles, the little children, and the big *** piniata

Shas agrees! All that Squall Seifer blabla wasnt that good (i never went on after the first couple of hours) and i think part 9 is awesome. Vivi is my personal favorite

is there a summary of the storylines availiable somewher? i played about every final fantasy at a friends house for about half of it and then we forgot about it and now 7 years later i dont want to start over because final fantasy is a game thats boring if you play it twice.
