well ,everyone dosn't have the same taste, I can't say that FFVIII is a bad game but I just didn't like it too much.

my favourite rpg (and probally favourite game) is vagrant story. i truly love this game!
i sorely want them to make a follow up, but i think the team that made it has been disbanded into other projects. however, i did hear that many of the vagrant story team are now working on FF12, so i'm greatly anticipating that one!

I think I've got the most miles on Diablo II. Liked Final Fantacy, but I'm not an avid gamer and get all messed up with the controls!

While I seldom come accross a RPG I don't like; I'd have to say that my favorite RPG by far is the Lunar series.

Well, now when I really think about it... Final Fantasies are the only rpg's I've ever played, so there aren't many choises...

Breath of Fire for ps1 has been the best of them. I would also like to say the legend of mana for ps1. And earthbound for snes. And dejavu for nes.

I'm probably gonna get chewed out for this, but Final Fantasy VIII. Nothing can ever top that game for me. And before anyone tries to set in on me...yes, I've played a lot of RPGs ^.^
