no guys, thanks for that but i dont wanna lead in this... and it is not fair to others because i havent done anything 'dangerous' just for no reason... it is just that i was born in wrong place at wrong time (and stayed there)
No worries there Alma. I just asked about dangerous situations. Unlike most of us nutters here, you didn't have much choice in your experience. I'm impressed that you just got on with life dispite the situation you were in.

hey DB, no hard feelings really... i was just surprised with what you wrote.. and about military and everything, well oh.. dont wanna to go off topic again.. anyway, i just wanted to say, after all thats happned, i do not blame anybody, or anything like that...

so sorry now for bringing this up

but thanks everybody for leting me know you care 🙏

🙂

I have ridden freight trains several times and have gotten on and off them while they were moving. I even jumped out of a moving boxcar once because it was going the wrong way. It didn't seem all that dangerous at the time, but things can happen.

In fact, check out the link in my signature for some stories about my trips.

Hm, I do, I blame serbs and Croats and especially since the latter got so much friggin Coast by the adriatic, it annoys me so much, they don't deserve it after what they helped to destroy and I blame the Western European nations who didn't do jack and sat there tellin the US to bak off and especially France, serb admirers for idotic reasons

Here we go. I have a bad memory for dangerous stuff I have done, so there is surely more, but that's all I can think of now.

- bungee jumping (3 times in one day)
- driving over 240km/h (150 mph)
- get in a rickshaw crash in India
- get out of the car alone to shush an alligator away from the road in the Everglades National Park, (Florida)
- walk around Angkor Wat (Cambodia) where landmines could still blow your legs off if you are unlucky
- get to the West Bank in Israel when it was closed to tourists
- Fall off a cliff in Greece (fortunately I landed on a platform 2m below and only got a few scratches)
- getting dysentry in India (twice !) and feel as bad as I have ever felt, with high fever, vomiting, diarrhea, stomachache and all you can imagine.
- sleeping on the branch of a tall tree when I was a child (the branch could have broken or I could have fallen while napping)
- telling my wife to postpone her shopping to another day. ;-)

well of course i blame some people (a lot of them)... actually, whole world just close eyes and turn head from us for a while... but i wanted to say, i dont hate whole nations for that of let this 'i blame those and those' to rule my world now. God will judge them.
but enough with that :p

maciamo 👍 you are so brave - you really told her that 😄

I have been driving WAY OVER THE SPEEDLIMIT on a motorway in a friend's car (Peugeout car) because we had to rush to party at my best friend....
I think I have been driving recklessly and I was lucky that no police car saw me..... 👍

The limit on the motorway in Denmark is 110-130 km, however, I was driving well over that.....

Sometimes, I drive more recklessly when driving in other people's cars...so watch out!

smth dangerous hmmmmmm, I guess in my childhood I was very reckless, jumpin of rooftops into old rusty cars, into bushes and stuff, getting into fights with like wooden swords, i punched this kid's tooth out once. I haven't done much crazy things since i turned 14 pretty much cuz i had no need to or no craving, but heh who knows, still fairly young :p

Jumping into an active trash compactor, triggered by a sensor that I was about 1 inch away from triggering (I found out later).

Grabbing on to random cars and busses to hitch a ride on rollerblades.

Playing with the plastic explosives in the army. yes playing... they say you should always respect rifles, explosives etc for all the damage they can do.. but after doing all those DAYS of drills.. drills to make everything about the weapon a gut-reaction for you... you totally lose respect for it.. the weapon is just a lump of iron people insist on telling you to carry around and do things with.

so when you've been doing your thing with the plastic explosives, learning for a few days.... well.. let's just say it feels and works alot like play-dough...

Just remembered ...

I once checked the acid level in the battery of my 1960 Renault ....

......using a cigarette lighter for illumination .....! :homer:

Fear not ... I still have a face ... ! (Some would say, "Unfortunately" !)

you were probably in your basement driving a watermelon at the time :P

no I acctually lost them....I never really liked that stuff only tried it 5 times and only had 1 good time on it..

me and another camero started to race...after about 8 blocks we were doing 140 mph down the buisest street in omaha...we flew by 3 cop cars..and they were after us..I cut the other camero off at 65 mph..then bolted down some side streets flying thru 2 stop lights...finally I pulled into a freinds garage near by, shut the door..and watched the cops speed by....

that stuff is bad for you....

All of that sounds interesting and exciting, but I must say the part that intrigues me most is the full grown bull in hip waders.

I'll put in another driving one, as most people danger seems to come from that. I was driving in Canada going up to my one of my cousins marina, when I went through some roadworks. This meant going to the left side of the road. After I passed the roadworks I promtly drove about another 4/5 mikes on the left side of the road, until a vehicle coming in the opposite direction gave me a quick reminder that I was not back in England. It is a good job Canadian roads are very straight, as I swerved a bit (I was doing about 70mph) getting to the right side. :p
