What do/did you want to be?

I have no clue what in the world I'm going to do, seeing as I'm still very young. But I do know that I could excell at almost anything I wanted to try out. Stuff just comes naturally to me. ^_^ I could be anything from a lawyer to a surgeon to president of North America (it could happen!). I have extremely high grades, can argue a point, can understand just about anything if I want to, and am extremely optimistic (the glass is FULL dammit!).

The only problem I have right now is, I want to do a lot of things, a whole lot of things. I've thought about going into the clergy (yeah right), starting a crime ring, rising to power in one of the world's more powerful governments, flying an airplane (kick @$$ job if you ask me), being a teacher (runs in the family), being a pro-wrestler (greco-roman, not WWE), being a lawyer, becoming a surgeon (which is very possible, I have no qualms over living organs in front of me), being a field reporter, working for the US govt, having the US govt. working for me ( ), starting a new religion, becoming British, being a scientist of some sort, going into psychology or psychiatry (sorry for misspellings), becoming a writer, living in a tree while making cars that run off of hydrogen (and only produce water and air), working with computers (programming), becoming a comedian, becoming a bodyguard, joining the army (paratrooper), developing weapons that have no need for a direct human pilot (remote operation), developing cures for diseases, being an astronaut, building things (bridges, planes, buildings, telescopes, airships, ships, space vehicles, monuments), singing, making a band, forming a choir, forming a legion of bagpipes to play at my funeral (imagine it, hundreds upon hundreds of bagpipes, as far as the eye can see!), creating (i don't know what), becoming a magician, becoming a pro Magic: the Gathering card player, and working for some cause that could help animals or the human race (such as finding a way to make edible plants grow in harsh conditions, or building massive above and below ground cities to house the populace, or we could build floating cities, 10 x 5 miles big, 3 levels, lowest for power generation, waste disposal, anchoring, and other devices to keep the oceanic city in place, middle level would consist of housing, some businesses, train system, and some other stuff, top level would consist of airport, power generation (solar), food production (fishing, fruit and vegetable growing, and on-board populations of animals), school, and some buildings used for business, operation, etc.)

As you can see, I think too much for my own good. But I have time left to dwell upon the matters of working life, and I'm quite positive that I'll find something or other to keep me occupied.

I'm almost 18 and ive been down the magician road. If you like to fool people, it is really good. It takes alot of practice thought. I used to be very good at slight of hand using sponge balls. i used to practice for hours in front of mirrors everyday. I started my own business called "London bridge magic" and we had a website.

Unfortunately, I lost interest, and stopped praticting. It's amazing how easy you acn fool people. You can pretend to put a ball in one hand, and they will totally believe it. the magic is because the sponge balls can squish to look like one, also if you look in the direction that the ball is 'supposed' to be in, people will look there too.

Yes life can certainly be full of twists and turns but the most important thing there is that we've learned something and that we ended up being happy at what we've achieved so far even though it's not part of what we've planned at first. Then there are times when no matter how far and long the journey you'd still end up with what you originally dreamed of (like Pachipro).

I wanted to be an astronomer. Now I think it's pointless asking kids what they want to be. IMO, career isn't anywhere near as important as they tell you at school. I think it's more important for kids to learn how to function in society, and getting a job is only part of that. Finding your soul mate in life is much more important than any job, IMO.

When I was younger I always wanted to be a hairdresser and photographer, then when I was 12 I applied for a job in a salon to work after schools and weekends (why my mother didn't stop me??) and was obviously denied the position. So after that I was dead against it, and decided I was going to be a chef, so from the age of 14 I got a job as a cook in a diner, and two school days a week I would work in the top restaurants in my town (kind of work experience), then when I left school, I worked full time in a new restaruant that was full of lies, so I quit and decided to go back to hairdressing.

Hairdressing was fun, I had a very strict boss, but fair also I worked for her for about 3-4 years doing competitions and other things during that time, and then left to venture more into makeup, then when I worked in a japanese hair salon, I was head makeup artist, as well as hair stylist. That was a great salon, once again I had a strict boss, not always fair, but very very nice, through that job I got some magazine work and small things like that.

After that I decided I wanted to work more in special effects for movies and things like that, I miss that now that I've been doing sweet nothing for 8 months here in Korea, cant wait to get enough money together to go home and work for a change.

During those years, I also dabbled in tourism, waitressing while studying and other things. Now I dont really know what I want to do when I go back. Part of me would like to be a Childrens nutritionist, so I can correct behaviour problems without all those drugs that people tend to shove down their kids throats. Either that or go back to special effects.

At first I wanted to be a super model, but then as I got older the reality of why I can't be a model set in. Then I wanted to be a paramedic up until middle school. I changed my mind on that because I can't stand to see someone all banged up and injured. So now, I'm trying to figure out what I want to do.

I wanted to be a correctional officer and I did an internship at the local jail for it here, afterwords I didn't really like it that much. Now I want to be either a computer programmer, Graphic designer or an ESL teacher.

well I wanted to go into the force from when I was 9 until 17 or something, the Lucht mobiele brigade, its one level lower then the commando's and marine corps in here. I did the test when I was 17, but I failed, because of reasons that were Bullshiit...

also for I think all my life I loved drawing, being creative and that kind of stuff, just the recent years I found out what to do with it, and hope to develop my creative skills the next years, and hopefully to become a successful web designer
