5. Ninja Gaiden
4. Castlevania
3. Megaman (or Rockman in Japanese)
2. Super Mario Brothers
1. Metal Gear


Yeah, I'm sure you're thinking what about Zelda? Well I know this is video game blasphemy, but I've never played any of the games in the series, but I know they have a tremendous following.

I still remember the excitement when.......

I replaced my faithful "PONG" game machine with a new Commadore 64. When it first came out, we had to enter the code for games & programs into it from the monthly magazine for the Commadore.

Great top five, Justin. I can't believe I forgot about Kingdom Hearts! That's a franchise I really like, too. The only reason it didn't make my top five is because the story got so confusing to me after the first one.
