i'm sorry if this is in the wrong place or not aloud :sorry:

anyway, this weekend, the UK-Japan choir is performing HANDEL's Massaiah at St John's Wood Church

the UK-Japan Choir is a society that tries to make a blend of British and Japanese society. it mainly foccuses around the music because the chair lady is the wife of Leicester Cathedral's Choirmaster, and she herself sings in the choir. the Leicester Dioses has a lot of connections with the Japanese Christian community, and indeed it's choir visited Japan in October 2005 after the cathedral helped restor a burnt down curch in Toyama.

anyways, i actually don't know too much about it, but i thought it might be an idea to post this here... just to let people know... but i do apreciate that, as always, tickets aren't cheep... but the Massaiah's a really great pice, and Mr. Greggory's a very good conductor.

if you're interested in finding out more about the UK-Japan society... let me know and i'll see if it's ok for e to give out the chairlady's email address...

Ooooh... too bad i can't go >.< :sorry: sounds interesting. I've never actually heard the Messiah sung.. although I've sung in it.. but because i'm an alto i only know that part :D :D

lol
naff... we should have tried to smuggle you into it >.<
cos... there's no age restriction on this choir 😌

but yeah... it should be good... what i wanna know though... is where that money's going...
i sure as hell aren't getting any...
