Pachipro said:...the people driving on the road. Tonight is my last night of driving before the holiday rush. Traffic will be heavier than usual. I worry someone may fall asleep, cross the median or cross into my lane of traffic and may be severely injured or killed by the truck I am driving. I always worry about that and hope that I am not destined to be someone's executioner.
If you are driving tonight, stay alert, take a break if you feel sleepy and please stay out of a truck's blind spots. If you pass a big rig on a downhill, please do not slow down in front of us as we cannot slow down as quickly as you, and if you are getting on an interstate, please get up to speed before you merge into traffic. Please do not enter an interstate at 45 mph when the speed limit is 65 or 70. It will be so much safer for all involved. Use your signals when getting off the interstate so we can slow down as we can not always move to the next lane. And always try to anticipate what the other driver will do. It will make my nite that much safer. Thanks.

Thank you for your hugs. I can feel them, regardless of the distance, in your kind and thoughtful words.Kara_Nari said:Wow, Pachipro... that brings a tear to my eye. Im feeling for you... she looks like a really sweet dog, you are so lucky to have had her for such a long time!
Im sure she has enjoyed every day of her life with you, and is eternally grateful.
Do you have more pics for us to see?
If I could, I would give you the HUUUUGEST hug, but there is a bit of distance and sea between us, so you will have to imagine instead.
Tsuyoiko said:Ralian - I'm glad you are OK. My mum has high cholesterol. She takes a yoghurt drink called danacol, I think it helps.
This is good advice - I have a yoghurt-based smoothie every day with my fruity breakfast.
Good to hear Ralian is in the clear.
Tsuyoiko said:Rich - I don't know how you feel because I got married at 21 - BUT I think you have to put your personal life before your career. To me work is just to earn money, and it is the time I spend with my husband and pets (and hopefully soon, kids) that is important. And don't worry about your hair - some women like bald men! After seeing your picture in the 'post your pics' thread I'm surprised you're having problems - you're cute! :blush
Thanks for your kind words,Tsuyoiko.
It would be hard to give up my career though - it's the only way I'm going to transcend my country bumpkin roots!

I never really got on with maths myself. Respect to you for even doing the subject. My algebra and calculus has faded over the years.Ma Cherie said:I'm very worried about the mathematics course I'm about to take, it's Brief Calculus and Matrix Algebra, some sort math that deals with the social sciences. I'm worried because I'm horrible when it comes to math and it seems like each time I take it the more difficult it gets and the less sense it makes.I mangaged to pass my College Algebra course over the summer and this was my third time taking it.
I don't know what's wrong with me, it just won't click for some reason.
