Hello again,
I've heard that the best way to learn another language is not to memorize lists of words and phrases, but to think in that language as often as you can.
One way I am trying to do this is by making flashcards with pictures on them instead of English words, so that I associate the Japanese word with the concept/object rather than the English word. The only problem is that it's hard to make an illustration for "sakuya" or "raishuu"...
Does anyone else have advice for someone trying to absorb the language in this way?
