I don't know if this happens to you guys but right now I have a J-Rock induced headache. I have seriously been listening to J-Rock all day on headphones and now I have a freaking headache. It's like headachezilla! And even though I know that it's the constant stream of sound from my headphones giving me said headache I can't manage to turn off my CD Player. Oh, the selfless sacrifices I make for J-Rock! So yeah, long story short, this is a section to tell stories about the crazy things we all do for J-Rock.

Since I woke up this morning I have: listened to Dir en Grey's "Vulgar" 2 times all the way through and once skipping around, "Miyavizm" once, a couple of songs by L'Arc~en~Ciel ("Forbidden Lover", "Ibara no Namida") and am now listening to Laruku's "Awake" and, FYI, my headache started halfway through "Miyavizm" and here I am blaring "Awake." I swear, the need for J-Rock always ends up killing those essential 40 points of IQ that separate the smart from the mentally debilitated. A smart person would turn off the CD Player but as this proves...I'M NOT A SMART PERSON!!! 😭
 
it used to happen to me a lot.....i used to listen to jrock untill i got some insane headache and then i stopped listening to jrock and listened to trance....untill i got a huge headache...then i switch back to jrock....its like a vicious cycle.....
 
I do that jrock trance/techno cycle too. But i go from trance to something like Clever Sleaziod XDD
 
It's not as serious as giving me an insane headache because I usually use the speakers in my room/car. there was once though that i was listening to ipod the whole day outside and because i was turning the volume up loudly, when i took it off, i got a partial deafness :D
 
yeah i noticed myself saying "huh?" or "what?" a lot when people talk to me....i stopped listening to my earphones so loud T_T lol... but i havnt gotten a headache from music in a long time....and i listen to jrock 24/7....i have my computer playing music when i sleep....when im in my car its playing....and when im walking to class its in my earphones and in class if its not too disturbing its on the computer....so just about 24/7....lol

i suggest dont listen to it so loud...where u go deaf T_T it shouldnt give u a headache

as i've said, it has only happened once. i usually prefer to blare on the speakers loudly for everyone to hear rather than the headphones. 😏 yeah hahah, i play is 24/7 too! even when sometimes i'm sleeping i leave the music going, but that's because im lazy to turn it off XD
 
Hmmm... i listen to jrock through the night, when i'm sleeping XD i made a project in school about X Japan and don't have headaches if listening music:D But that's isn't really crazy is it? :unsure:
 
When I listen to headphones I get a head ache, but otherwise not really. But I remember one time I was listening to my headphones, and I fell asleep and woke up wit the words BIGGEST headache.
 
i know there r some songs that really mean a lot to me and if i dont listen to them for some days and when i again hear them i just become depressed :( because they are so gooooooooooooooooooood. i cant explain why but at that moment my emotions get so strong i can't move. 😭
 
the craziest thing i did for jrock was disowned a bunch of friends that disliked my style, disliked my music and said to me if i dressed visual kei or died my hair hot pink they wouldnt hang out with me anymore...and thats when u know who r ur true friends and who aint T_T

but yeah rika i leave my music on too!! lol anytime im in my room...music is playing and my parents scream at me.....because there is constant music coming from my room x_x i cant not listen to jrock...ill die......its my life support haha
 
Well I need to listen to music so that I can fall asleep so I also let the music on all night long....even my parents who doesnt know a word in japanese know some of the songs hahaha I listen to Jrock everyday!!!! 24 hrs a day I rwally cant help it...when Im not listening to it I feel pretty wierd 😌
 
Yeah I suffer music loss after only 30 minutes of silence. XDD I am bad I suppose, but it's nice to have something playing, silence is too weird for me.
 
Yup, like listening to ex. Hydra or something else that makes you want to headbang during comp. lesson over and over again on full volume on headphones even though you shouldn't cuz your ears are allready f-up.
Then the song is stuck in your head all day and night and you end up hearing it in your dreams. And later when you hear nothing but silence it starts like a live performence in your head during math.....
You just can't say no to it, the force of jrock is to strong!! XD
 
childprey-yeah its funny when u start hearing it when its not on.....it happened to me and video games....i heard the pokemon music on gb all day and night T_T lol hasnt happened with jrock yet.....but sometimes i hear a peice of a tune and im like what song is that and i go insane untill i find the song lol...but i cant wait to hear a live performence out of no where......that would rockkkkk haha a free concert
 
boobiebutt: hah, yeah except it's not fun when you need to do math and you can't bcuz all you hear in your head is DEATHBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORN (only the screaming part over and over again really loud!) that's when you want to give in to the voices in your head and headbang :p
Oh yeah I know what you mean, i used to play this PC game where you have to build a city and I used to do it for hours (time flies when you are having fun) and so when I went to bed I could still hear the sound of building streets and actually see in front of me how I do it.... :p :p Good thing I stopped playing that game.
 
Yeah, I listen to my music 24/7 too. I just had a headache yesterday because I haven't had much sleep and I was playing music nonstop and refused to turn it down to accommodate my headache. Eh heh 😌 not the smartest thing I have ever done.

And one of the craziest things I have ever done for J-Rock I am in the process of doing. If it actually works I will tell you guys about it.
 
on friday at katsucon i spent over $300 dollars in only 2 hours on jrock stuff (posters/cds/lives/magazines....) and that was all the money i brought with me....and i spent it all on the first day :(
 
WOW!!! That's amazing. Wonder how much I've spent on J-Rock all together? :? *starts trying to add it up*looses track* :mad: My brain hurts.
 
i have made a pact with the devil, he will give me all the jrock things i wish, and in return i must do his will on earth....... who needs free will when you can have all the hyde stuff you want :devilish: :devilish:
oh what a fantasy....
