Dear native English speakers,
I have another question.

Which sentence would be used? (b) and (d)?

(a) The American woman I teach Japanese is from Seattle.
(b) The American woman I teach Japanese to is from Seattle.
(c) I teach an American woman from Seattle Japanese.
(d) I teach Japanese to an American woman from Seattle.

Thanks in advance.
Hirashin

Probably all of them, because a and c are substituting the indirect object, i.e instead of saying "I teach Japanese to her" you could say "I teach her Japanese", and which in fact would be more natural.
