[But You sound a bit glad heh?
Wonder why...
Well an egoist like me cannot really understand such a thing.]

PS: As for the third, and last sentece, im not sure if it is completely correct, i attempted to figure out what would sound natural, forgive me if the word rikoshugisha is currently not in use and/or has a more popular equivalent, if thats the case than my dictionary is probably outdated, once again sorry.

Sekai ha hirokute, omoshiroi tokoro desu ne. Ironna hito ha imasu ne. ^^
Maa.. koko ni yoku kaiteru hito ha sukunai desu ne.. =/
Zannen..

The world is a large and interesting place. There are lots of different kinds of people.
It seems that people who write here often are few.. Too bad!

Soudesune. Kaiwa wo suruhito wa sukunai desune.
Yes, that's true. There are very few people who engage in conversation here.

Kihontekiniwa, Nihonjin wa roomaji de kaku no wo kiraimasukara, kana to kanji deno kaiwa-sure to tatereba, kakikomu menbaa mo fuerudeshou.
Because Japanese people basically don't like writing in romaji, you might get more members to write if you start a kana/kanji conversation thread.

Sou desu ne. Nihongo ha onaji you na kotoba ga ooi desu kara ooku no bai, tottemo yominikui desu ne. Betsu no foorumu de aru omoshiroi bun wo yomimashita. "Niwatori ha niwa ni niwa imasu" (鶏は庭に二羽います).

Doushite nihonjin ha romaji wo tsukwanai deshou! ^_^v

Thats right. In japanese there are lots of similar words so many times it gets a bit hard to read. I read a fun sentence on another forum. "There are two chickens in the garden" (niwa ni niwatori ha niwa imasu)

I wonder why the japanese don't use romaji! ^_^v

Nihongo wa kanji wo tsukau kotode shunji ni yomi, imi wo rikaisurukoto ga dekimasu. Roomaji dewa, zenbu yomi, atama no naka de oto ni shinakereba wakarimasen. Choudo, sokki wo yonde irumitai desu.

"Niwa ni niwatori ga niwa imasu" wa koe ni dasuto wakarimasuga, romaji de wa sugu niwa wakarimasen.

The use of kanji make us able to read and understand the text instantaenously. In romaji, we have to read "everything" and voice the sounds in the mind to understand. It's like reading shorthand writing.

"Niwa ni niwatori ga niwa imasu" can be understood when voiced but cannot be understood immediately in romaji.

Nihonjin ha atama no naka de oto wo shinai desu ka?! HEEEEE!
Itsumo eigo nado wo yomu toki koe ni dashinakereba naranai kara mite dake de wakaru koto to ha henna kibun ja nai deshou?
Hmm.. Boku mo tokidoki nihongo de kaitta kanban toka mitara yomikata ha wakaranakute mo imi wo wakarimasu ga itsumo sono fuu ni yomu koto to ha... Hen ja nai desu ka! =P

----------------------------------------------------------------

The japanese don't make the sound inside their heads while reading something?! HEEE! you cant really read a language like english without making the sound so reading something and understanding it just by looking must feel weird! Well.. I too sometimes when seeing something, like a sign written in japanese, can understand the meaning by the kanji even if I don't know how to read it but always reading like that! =P

Nihongo to tabun Chuugokugo wa "me" de yomu gengo da to omoimasu. Ossharuyouni, yomikata ga wakaranakutemo, imiga toreru koto ga arimasuyone.

Eigo mo, aru teido "me" de yomu gengo da to omoimasu. Kore wo mitekara sou omotteimasu.

I think Japanese, and probably Chinese as well, is read with the "eyes." As you mentioned, there are instances where you can understand the meaning, even when you can't read the Japanese correctly.

I think English is also a language read with the "eyes" to some extent. I began to think so after seeing this.

Spelling-is-not-important

LOL!
sono saisho to saigo no ji ha hitokoto no naka de ichiban taisetsuna ji to ha wakarimashita ga sonna tekisu ha hajimete desu yo! Tottemo omoshiroi desu ne! Hayaku yomu to wakariyasui desu ga chuui shite yomeba dame desu ne!

Demo. Itsumo nanika wo yominagara atama no naka de oto ga kikoemasu..

-----------------------------------------------------------------

I kenw taht the frsit and the lsat leetrts wree the msot ipoamrtnt but tihs is the fsirt tmie I hvae seen taht knid of txet! It's ralely ieirensttng. If you raed it fsat, no perbolm, but if you do mroe cafelurly, it aolmst bcmeoes ispomsible! =P

I knew that the first and the last letters were the most important but this is the first time I have seen that kind of text It's really interesting. If you read it fast, no problem, but if you do more carefully, it almost becomes impossible! =P

Still I always hear it in my head when I read something..

Well if you think hard, you'll come to the conclusion that in a phonetic writing system that uses sounds, you can easily remember certain, common letter combinations, but for example can you figure out the meaning of these words just by looking at them?
quadragintesimal
calcariferous
macrencephalous
magnetohydrodynamic

You can't? Well thats cause you probably never heard or read them anywhere, meaning in english, you pronounce certain words (most) in your mind.

Forgive me for the off topic rubbish. Please continue.

Hontoo ni omoshiroi to omou. Chotto muzukashi da kedo eitango da.
jitsu wa ratengo ni kikoeru da. "Han ratengo" kanaa. Jaa, han ratengo to itteru wa doo da ka?

[Truly interesting i believe. A bit hard, but they're english words.
Truth is they sound like latin. "Half latin" i wonder. How about calling them half latin then?]
