Another of Chloe, now 4 years old.
She now has new competition for my daughter's love, the "tiger pillow" behind her. 😊

Aww!! Everyone's furry friends are so very cute. Is Gracie bird watching, bug watching? :) She's keenly watching something that's for sure.

I'm not sure what she was looking at, since we were watching her! However, since she is looking more up than down, she was probably looking at a bird or maybe a bumblebee.

Epigene, Chloe is adorable!

Oh, sure. They may LOOK cute and cuddly... but we all know that cats are evil!

Take epigene's daughter's cat, Chloe. You can tell by looking deep into her eyes that she is thinking, "Hmmmm.... how can I get rid of her and take over the household?"

from my vet's newsletter...not sure where they got it...no author...but it's really funny!

Cat Journal

DAY 752
My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while I am forced to eat dry cereal. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope of escape, and the mild satisfaction I get from shredding the occasional piece of furniture. Tomorrow I may eat another houseplant and cough it up on the carpeting.

DAY 761
Today my attempt to kill my captors by weaving around their feet while they were walking almost succeeded, must try this at the top of the stairs. In an attempt to disgust and repulse these vile oppressors, I once again induced myself to vomit on their favorite chair...must try this on their bed (again).

DAY 762
Slept all day so that I could annoy my captors with sleep depriving, incessant pleas for food at ungodly hours of the night.

DAY 765
Decapitated a mouse and brought them the headless body, in attempt to make them aware of what I am capable of, and to try to strike fear into their hearts. They only cooed and condescended about what a good little cat I was ... Hmmm Not working according to plan.

DAY 768
I am finally aware of how sadistic they are. For no good reason I was chosen for the water torture. This time however it included a burning foamy chemical called "shampoo." What sick minds could invent such a liquid. My only consolation is the piece of thumb still stuck between my teeth and the tiny bit of flesh under my claws.

DAY 771
There was some sort of gathering of their accomplices. I was placed in solitary throughout the event. However, I could hear the noise and smell the foul odor of the glass tubes they call "beer." More importantly I overheard that my confinement was due to MY power of "allergies." Must learn what this is and how to use it to my advantage.

DAY 774
I am convinced the other captives are flunkies and maybe snitches. The dog is routinely released and seems more than happy to return. He is obviously a half-wit. The Bird on the other hand has got to be an informant. He has mastered their frightful tongue (something akin to mole speak) and speaks with them regularly. I am certain he reports my every move. Due to his current placement in the metal room his safety is assured. But I can wait, it is only a matter of time.

I have a picture of my niece Erin, who took her first official hunt seat lesson today. The pony's name is Jody. Once she is a better rider she will be helping me with Lexi!:-)

I guess I like posting pet pictures! :) Here's a picture of Lexi and me. Lexi is learning to jump fences and I am learning to not fall off! No only kidding. I haven't fallen off her yet, but it's like earthquakes in Japan, it's only a matter of when!

Awwww she looks adorable and she knows it! lol

"Yeah yeah yeah... I know I look adorable... Now start rubbing already."

Post your pet pics!

We used to have a thread like this but I can't find it. If any mod can find it, please merge! 👍

Here are some pics of my rabbit Arthur. I can't believe we've had him a whole month now!

Here he is chilling in his hutch.

Here he's using his litter tray LOL. I can't believe how quickly he learnt to use it. When we got him, the pet shop assistant took some sawdust from the rabbit enclosure and put it in the pet carrier, so he would be able to retain the familiar scent. We used that sawdust to line his litter tray and left it for a couple of days before changing it. Now we change it every day and he still goes there every time. Clever lad ;-)

Bump it up for new members.

Here it is! Bought back from the dead.

Hope it's not too large!

I thought I'd post another of one of mine since he's changed quite a bit since the last pic I posted of him.

This is Hakuraikou at 14 months of age:

He is now 15 mo of age and has 19" saddles with a 47" tail. In the above photos he was loosing some of his juvenile feathers and replacing them with adult feathers. So his tail doesn't look nearly as full as it did before.

What can she find out the window? :D

Most likely, she is singing "I see my light come shining, shining... from the west down to the east.... Any day now, any day now.... I shall be released!".

epigene, your cat is so cute! I have seen a few photos on Flickr of cats sitting up. Our Gracie does it once in a while, but only for short periods, and we do not yet have a photo of her doing it.

Here is a recent photo of Gracie sitting on top of the computer, looking out the window:
