Am I the only one with a bird?

He's an albino cockatiel, and when we got him (the end of August) he was about 6 weeks old, which would make him about 5 and a half months old. He's not very friendly, but won't bite like he means it unless you do something to really piss him off. Such as whacking him with a newspaper *cough*dad*cough*

A red one you say. Would it have been a 'springer spaniel'? Growing up we owned another spaniel 'identical' looks to Jet. To be honest, never had a problem with it being naughty. Very playful and friendly, but I can't say that they're on the smart side.

Jet there is only a youngen. About a year old.

these are my budgies! If you can see them! Sadly, the yellow one (jasmine) died in march of last year. I still miss her terribly, but I have Bandit (the gray one) to constantly love me with bites.

@ Dutch - he looks like great fun! My auntie has the same breed of dog. He's called Charlie, and he's mad. He gets your arm or leg in his mouth and just holds it there - he doesn't bite you, just puts his mouth round you. He also likes sniffing crotches and pushing you from behind with his nose. He can knock you off your feet!

@ Silver Angel - does your budgie whistle? When my mum was a kid she had a budgie that could whistle the theme tune to Champion the Wonder Horse!
