A fantastic piece of art there, Kinsao san !! I dream of sketching like that in my wildest dreams...!! Very nice control, balance and, of course proportion.
Why don't you lend me a little of your right hemisphere along with some of your cerebellum, then, with those additions, I should be able to do some great work like that too!!
AND...I'm waiting for your CD to hit the market here in Japan. I'll go to Parco and by it !!

lol... it's funny you should say that... apparently I'm more left-brained than right-brained... according to all the tests I've done, anyway
Not to mention the fact that my ring fingers are longer than my first fingers, which -should- mean that I'm better at maths than languages... haha *hollow laugh* XDXD (although I'm not bad at maths if I say so myself 
)
I suspect my album might take a long time but when I finally finish it I'll be sure and post a link on J-Ref!

hands are one of the hardest things to draw. but I see Kinsao don't have problem with that either.

(when it comes to art) What that doesn't seem to mean, is that the left cannot do it, but simply that the right does better. Of course, that is also an average result, it seems. You may well be an exception to the rule.
I'll try to post some more later...and some of my carpentry work, in time.

Kinsao chan, that is an absolutely mind-boggling piece!! 
Please, do tell us if you worked from a photo, (you must have, absolutely, I think, because to my meagre mind there is no way someone could draw like that any other way??) If you didn't, you surely surpass Da Vinci! (And if you didn't, you're still up there with some other greats in my book!)

thank you MM, it is good to be back (again) here. and I am really amazed by your work. I found there is something weird (more then obvious), so I kept staring - a actually do not like combination of that blue and that brown, but here fits perfectly. waiting to see more from you. and kinsao too.

Well, I thought that I might put some like back into this one...especially since I went out a bought a nice ￥7000 canvas just last month. I hope to built up some more tension for creative explosion...so I thought this just might help.
This one was done in '93. The title basically gives the image in mind. There appear to be three black dots on the left hand side, near the top of the photo...these are not in the painting...must have been in the scanning done by my friend. The work is in acrylic and is about 60cm x 90cm; stretched canvas. (I hope I get this link right....)

Thank you very much, made of stone! I did copy from a photo though! I don't usually like to do this... but sometimes it's nice and relaxing just to 'practice' by doing some copying, and I did like the atmosphere of the photo very much.
I love your landscape imagination, Mars Man! It reminds me of some of Magritte's paintings - similar texture - and also Dali (I'm sure you've heard the comparison before).
I haven't really done any art work at all recently - just this one little (A5) sketch when I was in Berlin.

In the various ways that that can[/b be done, one of them will surely be the visual medium, and I know you will blow us all away with the universe inside you !! I am waiting to that too !!

Yes, the larger photo is better...easier to visualize and all. I'm pretty sure that I see a Blue whale in that top one...and possibly a very well done face side from a very unusual angle. And the second one seems to have some element of Native American style sand painting to it. I also like those colors !
Yes, Shin, that is a very well known painting. It reminds me of how I feel when teaching some students, sometimes !! I want to pull my hair out...even though I don't have any to pull out! Thanks for sharing that.

I think it's both. I love to bake real bread, not that stuff you buy in a bag at the store. This was a rustic honey wheat bread with a touch of molasses. It was the best. We ate it warm from the oven with butter and honey. Yummy! I also made italian bread but my husband ate the entire loaf (with prosciutto). I have another loaf baking in the oven!

I definitely think cooking and baking are artforms, considering I'm not really good at them and the presentation is most definitely 'visual', in that sense they are almost like sculpture, but with the added pleasure that you can eat them! I do love nice bread... *mm*

lol I'd like to do that, but I dunno if working as a photographer would bring me any good money to live off of. I usually take photo's when ever I can.
