Die reminds me of a red squirrel! When he has red hair... and his smile... red squirrels have this expression like they are smiling, hehe, and the most beautiful big bright eyes. By contrast, Toshiya puts me in mind of a raccoon - I don't really know why. :?

Mana is totally a Siamese cat ( ) so dignified, he never wants to smile, and you know how cats hate to have their dignity ruffled. Hitsugi would be a cat, too, cos he loves them, and... seems kinda right for him... but he wouldn't be a nose-in-the-air Siamese, but, something more cuddly, with long hair... kinda like this one:
