Took a computer class last quarter at the college, but thank goodness computer languages weren't part of the class! My 4.0 grade would have been 0.0 instead!

Let's see, I don't like to brag....

C++, CGI, Perl, ASM, (D,S,XML,HTML), Java

A lot of which, I deem non-usefull, unless you want pop-ups, or special items on your website.

Wierd thing is, I got into this stuff at the ripe old age of 12, and have never taken a college course. With pleny of questioning, and experimenting, I developed some great skills.

I've also fine tuned my skills for graphics art messing around with 3dmax, Maya, Photoshop CS, Paint Shop Pro, Vector Arts....etc

FORTRAN, BASIC, PASCAL, C, LISP
My favorite is LISP for logical clarity; C for tiny utilities.
I prefer the command line operating system because I think linear and can't multitask anyway.

Well Pascal, some of these: C, PHP, VBScript, and VB.Net
HTML though it's not really programming per se.

SQL isn't programming.

Nowadays SQL is an accepted standard RDBMS language. Is both DML (Data Manipulation Language) which is used to manipulate - add, edit, delete data - and DDL (Data Definition Language) which is used to define databases and its component tables.

However, my view is this: Programming languages have grammar and syntax and SQL has both therefore it's a programming language.

For C ++, you should use Borland C++ Integrated Environment! It's the best, in my opinion. Microsoft Visual is fine too. I used to use css and javascript to fix up my websites, but I don't do that stuff anymore. Ekk.
