Sorry sorry. i just re- found this thread and realised you replied. i was staying away from it and forgot about it lol. Anyway...the part i didnt get about experience for teaching is that dont we also need a degree to teach in the UK and US? But then i guess in some countries having a E.G TESOL Cert. is enough to get a job so maybe working there for 3 years would be OK. Sorry to drag the topic way back but i didnt want to be rude after asking you. so thanks.

No, frosty, you don't need a teaching-related degree to teach in Japan, unless you plan to work for an international school (and those also require work experience in your home country, not just a freshly minted degree).

Work visas require nothing more than a bachelor's degree, any degree major will do.

If you want to work in a university, then of course you will need a master's degree (minimum in most cases), and it usually has to be in an EFL-related field, like linguistics.

For eikaiwa, JET, dispatch companies, business English schools, and direct hire by mainstream schools, the vanilla BA degree is plenty. TEFL/TESOL certification is totally separate, and most entry level jobs don't care if you have it or not. If that is all you have (i.e., no degree, just a certificate), then you need the 3 years of work experience to get a work visa. Bear in mind that some eikaiwas balk at hiring people with extensive work experience and credentials, probably because they don't want some cowboy riding into town and trying to change the school's pre-planned teaching format.

The Dark Ages Medieval, Renaissance and the Age of Exploration. European colonial imperialism by the industrial revolution. And the black slave trade, and the invasion of South America Mayan, Aztec ruin.
As the two world wars and modern history. Yellow vortex theory, the Holocaust. Cold War after the war.
They learn a basic knowledge of a street.
Of course, some ignorant lazy to study Japanese. That there is a difference around the individual.
However, a high school education are biased to memorize for a college entrance exam.
