Must be pretty old to use the pre-reform version of 号

Yes, it was used in the Japanese Imperial Army/Navy during WW2. The kanji next to 一 is 型, as Mike-san pointed out.

That is 菩 (bo), the sort of tree Buddha is said to have been sitting under when he achieved enlightenment.
Hello, can someone please help me translate the posted image. I did the best I could to write down the characters, but it was difficult due to it being embossed on a piece of paper. I had a hard time with numbers 2,5 and 7 and couldn't make them out 100%. This would have been written in old kanji around ww2. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Thought I would add the the whole back of it. I was told that it was street address and a phone number, but the person wasn't sure. Any thoughts?

The address is almost certainly no longer valid and the phone number absolutely is not.

The last kanji might be 氏. It seems to be inscribed by the one who was not familiar with Chinese characters.
Thank you for your help. They are inscribed on a bronze temple bell. One on each edge. Using Google translate 喜田川中 seems to translate as 'Kida midstream' which I think is a river?

They are not very well inscribed. I think it is very old but I do not know what date. Thanks for your help.
