Can anyone translate this Kanji ?
Hello, can someone please help me translate the posted image. I did the best I could to write down the characters, but it was difficult due to it being embossed on a piece of paper. I had a hard time with numbers 2,5 and 7 and couldn't make them out 100%. This would have been written in old kanji around ww2. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you!
No offense, but that's unintelligible. Could you just post a photo of the paper instead?
My apologies, the camera didn't do too badly with the lettering. hopefully this is better.
Yajima Studio
Tounei (district in China).
The embossing should be read from the other side.
Thank you so much!!!! I really appreciate your help : ) that is a very interesting stamp, a Japanese photography studio operating in China during the second Japanese Sino war. Off to do more research : )

Thank you for your help. They are inscribed on a bronze temple bell. One on each edge. Using Google translate 喜田川中 seems to translate as 'Kida midstream' which I think is a river?喜田川中
塩野入中
What are they inscribed on?
The last kanji might be 氏. It seems to be inscribed by the one who was not familiar with Chinese characters.
