Miyamoto Quote Translation

Hello friends,

I was hoping I could get help in getting a translation of the quote "no fear, no hesitation, no surprise, no doubt" by Miyamoto Musashi. Can't seem to find the Japanese lettering anywhere I look.

I checked the original text of Musashi's Five Rings, but there is no such phrases there. It might be a very liberal translation or something.

Another possibility is that it's actually not what Musahi said or wrote. Google search results of your phrases often mention a book The Rules of Life by Richard Templar.


Actually, we had a similar thread. The OP was looking for the original Japanese sentences of Musashi's words, but it turned out that it's not quoted from Musashi's original book, but from a book regarding Musahi by an American author.
