Nagoya is great. Not to hip like Tokyo but enough to fancy everyone who visit. FYI, NIT have a few rooms for family in gakusei kaikan. If you manage to secure one. It will be a big saving. For living expenses, I think the scholarship is enough for two. If not enough, you can still do part time job there as well.I am going for PHD in Electrical Engineering... How was the life in Nagoya (expenses for two persons ?) and the University itself ? if i may ask .
Hey people I would like to share my updates with you.
Yesterday I got an e-mail from my tutor from Nagoya University (second choice, first was KEIO, private) telling me that the government had contacted the university to confirm my future enrollment in Nagoya University! I am so happy to know that everything seems to be going on fine even though there's no final or definite confirmation that I am going to Nagoya University hehehe. I believe that the Embassy of Japan will only inform the final and definite results to applicants here, so I'm going to have to wait until January to get the final confirmation anyway.
Based on what happened yesterday I will be going to Nagoya if everything goes on fine from now on.
Anyone else going to Nagoya University?
My first choice supervisor is very busy and although we have exchanged many emails, I doubt he will reach out to me first (if mecessary).
I wish I could just bump into him in the halls, or something. Haha
Congrats to you both!

Well, we like a little bit of fascination. Dont we!! LOL... NITECH is my second choice (First Osaka Uni). But i think they will place me at NITECH. Anyway if i would be placed at NITECH how can i manage to get a dorm ? before arriving or after ?
And regarding family reunion do you have info's how to apply ??
And finally regarding to reunion with you, I will be pleased to... Do you have a Facebook that we could communicate more in the future ??
Thank you for your assist
Thank you for the info'sBased on my previous experience, first I stayed at my senior house for few days before allocated to the dorm. I am not quite sure what is the procedure as it is somehow automatically assigned to us. Maybe you can contact admission for further details.
For your spouse, you need to get the certificate of eligibity and I believe NIT can assist you on the procedure, as my seniors back then have no problem to bring their spouse and kids.
Talking about NIT make me remember the good old days. Super nice place for Hanami (sakura watching)
You may find me on facebook by searching ejat ezati☺
Thank you for the info'snow i have found three facebook profiles with the name ejat ezati !! which one yours ??
My local consulate-gen just confirmed my passing of the second screening - they are now discussing with my selected universities, it seems.
