That's right The correct way to say for yourself is without おbut you could say 「わあ，お楽しみ」at least I say it quite a lot. But now I'm not sure if it's correct to use it for myself???

So if I understand you correctly, you can never say 楽しみに as short version of 楽しみにしています ? In this case I should just say 楽しみ?

I think 楽しみ is more likely a short version of 楽しみだ/です there. It would be an interjectional usage of the stem of a na-adjective, just like 残念（だ/です）！, 好き！ or すてき！.

It's interesting. I could say ( to you) for example I know your grandchildren are going to visit you on vacation and you look happy about it then I tell you お楽しみですね
