Looking For Matsubara Miki

To All Members Of This Thread

I am very proud of every one of you and I will never forget your help and support during the last 20 years until now.

You are all my friends and you encouraged me to dig into my past and shed lights on my relationship with the late Matsubara Miki.
I didn't want really to reveal so much privacy about our relationship because I felt it is between me and Miki only but when some of you asked me for photos of us I had to post some and those photos were taken by me with my own camera back in the late 70's not as some guys claim that I took them from the internet.

For God sake what such photos or even such a relationship will benefit me or add to me? Miki has passed away back in 2004 and I am married now and have grown up sons and daughters and also grand sons so why should I pretend that Matsubara Miki was my girlfriend?!!

I never lied in my life and will never but how can I prove that she was my girlfriend now after almost 50 years and what for?
We met back in 1978 when she just came to Tokyo from Osaka and our relationship was kept private so only my friends and classmates knew about it because at that time her music coordinator didn't like us to be together so he kept bothering us a lot so we seldom go public and we chose certain outlets to go to together and most of the time we meet in my apartment. When she made her first concert things became more difficult for us as we both were under heavy surveillance by her music company but we managed to meet together until I finished my studies in Japan in 1981.

Now after almost 46 years, this psycho guy is trying to show me as a liar and write bad things about me everywhere on the internet for no apparent reason other than that he doesn't want to believe that Miki was my girlfriend.

If he is a really fan of Miki he should respect her soul and let her rest in peace.

Once again thanks for everyone here and thanks to moderators here especially Thomas for their support and help in keeping this thread safe and alive.

God bless you all

Hello everyone,

Hope everyone doing fine, last week was rough due to that psychopath who has got no reason to do what he did.

That psychopath hijacked the thread with his stupid theory which he has got no evidence and created a scene which is hard to handle for any sane person.
I don't care who is lying or who is accusing, this thread is to remember Miki's work. Photos shows my Mr. Fahd are heart touching and Miki looked very happy in every photo especially with Mr. Fahd. I would say Mr. Fahd is lucky to have a friend like Miki, Mr. Fahd should not worry what anyone thinks of their relationship.

I texted that psychopath if he knows any of Miki's relative and if he has ever met Miki herself as he is 36 years old. I also asked him what is he going to do even if Mr. Fahd is lying even if the photographs are false, he's got no answer to any of this keeps on saying Mr. Fahd is lying and will tell Miki's relative about Mr. Fahd. Now I am sure he keeps on lying to me regarding Miki's relative and don't know anyone from Miki's side.

I am not here to support or take anyone's side, I am not here to ask questions or to verify every text written on this thread. I am here for Miki's legacy. I will keep on posting to this thread as long as I can, regardless of any replies

However, I deeply regret my behavior towards Mr. Fahd, I should have kept a neutral stand and should have supported Miki.
I deeply regret my behavior towards you and somehow, I may have hurt Miki Soul.
It's easy to forget and move on, even I could have forgotten about this thread and move, but I did a lot for this thread and it's immoral for me to just leave this thread, as a Japanese language student and eager to go to Japan, Miki has changed a lot in my life and I really to want to give back to Miki.

shamco started this thread 20 years ago in an earnest attempt to get in touch with his old friend. Sure his memory may be fallible with some details but it's clear he has no reason to make up stories. Anyway I'm glad for this thread. I'd never had heard of Miki-san otherwise even though I may have heard some of her music without knowing.

Hi Guys, sorry for disappearing for a long time, thank you Mr Fahd (shamco) for sharing with us your private life, it was a really interesting chat, where i found a lot of interesting facts about ms Miki.
Mr Guddume 2003 if my mind don't changing me you previously asked me about my Facebook, unfortunately i haven't Facebook but i have Instagram(@slowandgrim).
P.s. it could be wonderful idea if guys from this chat will meet in Osaka/Tokyo

I didn't expect to end up reading this entire thread 🤯 I got drawn in because I thought the name was familiar, but I was thinking it was about a different singer named Miki I know of, until I saw the info regarding her songs and death and then it all clicked. I'm not a die-hard fan of Miki Matsubara, but I definitely enjoy her song 真夜中のドア and I truly think that she and Mariya Takeuchi shaped what city pop as a genre actually is, and modern variations of it today. As a music lover I'm quite grateful and did find out about her death a few years ago, soon after discovering her. It's good to see such a thread like this where someone so close to her ended up sharing plenty of information for us to learn more about her and his relationship to her. Thanks, Mr. Fahd :)
Happy late birthday @Guddume2003 , it's impressive how persistent you've been in keeping this thread alive for the past year or two :) I appreciate that you've been the catalyst in allowing Mr. Fahd to be comfortable to share what he knows.
