Amazing book !!! 👍
I have not even finished reading page 28 but i can't help to reccomend it.
In the book the japanese characters are explained with the meaning and where they came from and how did they form.It is simply amazing and easy to understand and learn.
I think this is the only way ( for me ) to learn japanese characters.
The book starts with introduction on how the characters formed, where were they taken from, also includes the original picture of the characters and explains how multiple characters were combined in one to represent certain meaning.
The book claims to include 300 basic characters with the help of which you can (i hope) understand most of the characters in the japanese language.
I have reached page 28 reading for 10 minutes and thank God i now know what Tokyo and Japan means and how to write it with characters 👍
Man and woman, mother and boy are also easy :)
It's simply amazing :)
Finaly a book with common sens.

🙂

Edit: wooow amazing !!! :)
let me give you a quote :

A woman [chaacter for woman here] and a child [character for child here] together signified
love and goodness to the Chinese. They combined
these two pictographs into the new character [character for love here]
which means love or goodness.

I think that one can even grasp the culture behind it :) awww this si so sweet.I can almost cry ^__^

Can someone explain to me why would the Chinese people think that a "wet tongue" means life ? ☝

while these sorts of materials can help one remember kanji when they are starting out, it's a dangerous habit to rely on them to provide meaning.
