I like most J-rock bands from: Malice Mizer, Buck-Tick, L'Arc En Ciel, Uverworld, The Gazette, Raphael, Kagrra, Kagerou, early Dir En Grey, Scanch, Givuss, Plastic Tree, independent Kaz Nishida (I think they are Japanese...), Glay, Duel Jewel, etc
However overall the least impressing group I have seen in Jrock would have to be Asian Kung-fu generation, I still listen to it once in a while, however everytime when i listen to there music I get very bored. There music is too plain, dull, predictable, generic, doesn't stand out, and other words.
I still like them like I said, but usually when I have listened to other great bands too much.
Anyone else agree with me?
I know they are popular, when i went to Japanese the second Japanese student that hosted me in the
Yamanashi Prefecture that went to Yamanashi Gakuin enjoyed them as one of his 3 favorite groups. Which from my observations, he is the type of the person that cares about his music more than school.
Whats so Great about Asian Kung-fuu Generation?
