I was recently in Asia and a business associate gave me a Japanese snack that I loved. It had toasted almonds on the top and had a crispy bottom. It came in a box and all the treats were individually wrapped in foil. I have posted a picture of the wrapper.
Please help me find out the English name. I'm dying to have it again.

I think this is the one:

This (including other variations) is called Moegino from Tivoli Tivon. The maker appears to be a specialized one, and its products available only at certain shops and department stores or through Web retailers.

thank you, thank you!!!

That's it. I can't believe this is not easily available in the US. Americans would love it.

It's not sold at supermarkets or ordinary sweets shops, so it's not easily available in Japan either.

Tivoli Tivon is one of the premium-class sweets manufacturers in Japan who market their products only at exclusive retail outlets, such as top department stores.

The only way to purchase them outside Japan would be to have a Japanese friend buy from Internet retailers and send them to you.
