Japanese slang

Well, to get around in Japan you have to know the slang right? Aw, who am i kidding?

I've notced that the Japanese have their own slang (who hasn't?) I've asked my Jap class teacher and he doesn't really know about the slangs used in Japan. So mind telling me a few? :joyful:

What are the words 'cheapskate' or 'stingy' in Japanese? couldnt find one in my pocket dictionary. Is there any other slang for that words?

'cheapskate' = I say "けちん坊(kechinbou)" in Japanese.
or "守銭奴(syusendo)"A slave of money
'stingy' = I say "渋ちん(shibuchin)" in Japanese.
or "しみったれ(shimmitare)"

Most of the book is just insults. Here are a few at random.

baka banashi - drivel/foolish talk 馬鹿話
donkan na baita - stupid ***** 鈍感なばいた
atama ga usui - stupid 頭がうすい
monnashi - deadbeats/pennyless 文無し
shimittare - tightwad/stingy しみったれ
shikima - sex fiend
kono butayarou - you pig/this pig
shikujiru na. - don't screw up.
doita, doita. - get out of the way
akujou - 悪女 ugly woman

Not that I plan on cussing anyone out in Japanese, I've just always been very interested in slang and how it is used in different cultures.
